Gracias, santacosta. Hey, ¿de casualidad conocerás otras listas aparte de las de Rock en las Américas? Si las conoces, te agradecería mucho si las pudieras poner aquí también. Tú sabes, para escuchar más música hecha en latinoamérica. Y es que Rock en las Américas hace muy buenas listas, pero no nos la van a aceptar aquí por eso de que ellos no tienen tantos lectores. Lo cual es una pena, porque en verdad son muy buenas listas. Pero igual síguelas posteando aquí, porque yo y otros de todas formas las leemos y las usamos, y nunca estará de más conocer buena música. Although some of the sources used to create the list, the staff was the one who placed the order, ie, it is not the typical list which makes an average with reader's lists. They also used the help of other critics, making it eligible.

As I was telling Santacosta, the lists from Rock en las Americas are very good lists, but I think they are not eligible because they are created on a blog, not a professional broadcast media. If you are still interested in this lists, It seems that although the blog is run by a single person, to create the lists he asks for suggestions to visitors of the blog, and asks their own lists to other bloggers from other countries in Latin America (more or less about 5 people). Based on these data, between the blog owner and those 5 friends, they agree to create a single list, and they create the result together.

I must say though their lists are great, and although they have a critical selection, they are not professional critics. (Although who is a professional critic?)

Still, I support Santacosta and anyone else in the forum to share any list they consider to be good, for three main reasons:

While some lists do not have the necessary requirements to be accepted in AM, they can be very interesting to read anyway.

Some of these lists could itself meet the requirements to be accepted in AM. And,

maybe when we just say "Thanks, but the list is not eligible." we can discourage the person who shared it, especially if it is the first list that person shares, or worse, one of the first posts that the person does in the forum. That same person can have around other eligible lists. I mean, the first lists one shares tend to be those that one encounters, not those that one finds only if one's looking well (such as those created by the radio stations or local magazines). Although ok, it's just my point of view.

So Rock en las Americas is another site in the vein of DigitalDreamDoor and Bruno's Brazilian topsongs. They are alternatives to AM rather than sources that I can use.
