Some information about the list: 74 (56 male, 18 female) music critics or music professionals submitted their top 20 lists (some submitted lists with more than 200 songs but they only counted top 20). The point system was #1 = 200 points, #20 = 55 points.
I think the list is poorly made (the point formula (there are lot of ties for example four #86s), they asked only top 20 and it looks like some of the participants submitted their the best songs right now lists). Strange Fruit at the top spot and two Kate Bush songs in top 18 is quite impressive though.

Really cool to see Ace of Spades, Hallowed be thy Name, Peaches en Regalia, the two Kate Bush songs, and Cold Little Heart. I'll have to check out the Finnish songs.

It's definitely eclectic. Also, we don't see many lists that have a song from the year 1900 in the top 10.

I kinda dig it! Any list with Cold Little Heart on it is fine by me. (And for those wondering, since I'm sure someone was: beyond ABBA, there's Eurovision representation on this list with a song by the late Pave Maijanen, albeit not his Eurovision entry).
