✅ Q Magazine (UK) - The Songs Of The Decade
Compiling the votes for the Songs Of TheDecade this
month, we tasked contributors with some simple rules.
They could only pick their one stand-out song of the
2010s. Then they could nominate two or three back-ups
in case we ended up with a hundred votes for Baby Shark.
In the end, overwhelmingly the most voted-for song was
Video Games by Lana Del Rey. I then awarded myself
with the prize of going to tell her this news in Los Angeles,
even though I think she’s also contributed several other
contenders on her latest album, Norman FuckingRockwell.

Re: Q Magazine - The Songs Of The Decade
More puzzled/worried what Liam Gallagher would be doing anywhere near a EOD list

Reader input - not eligible, I don’t think.
Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand - Sir Duke (1976)
Re: Q Magazine - The Songs Of The Decade
No, readers only chose like three songs.. They highlight them as "Readers' choice.
The list is in chronological order (again) like every other recent Q Magazine list.

Oh good. So just not those three songs.

Re: Q Magazine - The Songs Of The Decade
Except 'Video Games' is their #1 'most voted for, Song of the Decade'. Thus the cover star.
Go your own way

Re: Q Magazine (UK) - The Songs Of The Decade
The playlist has 85 songs. Are there 82 songs selected by staff and 3 by readers?Jimoincolor wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 5:12 pm The full list is here, listed chronologically: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2o90e ... sdN6ntk9CI
If so, which ones were selected by the readers? Can we make sure that they would not have been selected by the staff otherwise?
