Son of a bitch - I have the international albums entered on the spreadsheet as a ranked list. It didn't even register with me that the entries are alphabetical by artist (sort of), because THE LIST IS NUMBERED, FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!

Sigh. If you can confirm that this is indeed an unranked list, I will change it on the spreadsheet.

It is ranked but in alphabetical order, so if we assume that Revista Shock staff is not playing weird games with us, I think we should
consider it unranked. Actually, there is only one album ranked 50th, which escapes this rule and that is Black Panther Soundtrack. It is not explained, but it can mean either that it is the Album of the year, or that it is above any categorization.

I think it's simply because it's a Various Artists/soundtrack album, not credited to any single entity.

That could be an expiation if it is not credited, but it is to Kendrick Lamar.

Lamar curated the album (and appears on every track) but it is not officially, explicitly credited to him as an artist. It's definitely a Various Artists release. If Revista Shock had wanted to name it Album of the Year they would be a lot clearer about it.
