It's too bad PMA only found twenty songs worth selecting this year, especially since this is the best song long we've seen so far! Last year they selected the top 100!

In 2016 PMA compiled a top 60 albums list. I've noticed a few sources radically cutting down on the number of albums on their EOY lists this year. What's up with that?

Probably laid off half their workforce this year and have fewer writers to do lists this time.
