The White Stripes were my first serious musical love, and Elephant is probably the album I have listened to the most in my life. I would listen to it on repeat all day for weeks when I was younger, so every bump of Toe Rag Studio is ingrained into my head. Pretty much all of the songs fall within my latest Top 1000, there isn't a wasted moment.

But Honestly, I don't hate any of these songs. White Stripes mopped the floor with every other band in 2003. And it shows through every chord here.

Seven Nation Army is hard to rank because it has been overplayed so much that it induces fatigue by now. Ball and Biscuit is also hard to rank because it follows the classic blues template a bit too faithfully so it feels less original than the rest of the album... but damn is it still brillantly done.
