Acclaimed Music Forums

The basic idea is to rank the tracks off the album each week to see how each track compares to each other. It's an excuse to go back to classic albums and a way to gauge the best and worst tracks of the most acclaimed albums. Simply rank all the tracks from your favorite to your least.

I plan to go in cycles of decades with the 1950s and 2010s once every other cycle. I will go with the top album of each respective decade, but I might skip questionable albums (I doubt anyone wants to rank the tracks of 69 Love Songs, no matter how great the album is). Next week will be Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Also, if you missed an album that you want to rank, you can do so in this thread. Please keep it to 1 old album per week. I will update the results. Please don't bump previous threads. I'd like to keep everything in the current topic and the result topic.

Hardest part is to rank the Neighborhood tracks, that Laika is "only" my 7th favorite track of the album shows how much I love Funeral. Still, Wake Up in a landslide, top 10 songs of all time.
Heck, the 3/4 song is not even in my top 5!!! (my fav song of each of the other albums in my top 5 is a 3/4 song : Velvet Waltz, Between the Bars, A Song for the Deaf and Kanye's Spaceship).

Next week should be interesting too ! (I would have voted for Nevermind if I had had a bit more time in my hands)

I think In The Backseat is a beautiful song and just edges out the equally brilliant Rebellion and Wake Up.

I remember hearing this album for the first time and not really getting it. Now it's one of maybe two or three albums where I give every single track a 7/10 or higher.

Another album where the whole is better than the sum of its parts. I would say that if I rate songs individually The Neon Bible is above Funeral, but when listening to both of them in full funeral stands out the clear winner.
