And these three albums had my vote, so here are my song picks:

Kate Bush – The Sensual World
The Sensual World (1)
Love and Anger (1)

Ennio Morricone – C’era una volta il West/ Once Upon a Time in the West
C’era una volta il West/ Once Upon a Time in the West (1)
L'uomo dell'armonica/ Man with a Harmonica (1)
I have heard both hundreds of times and they still send chills down my spine.

Angel Olsen – My Woman
Shut Up, Kiss Me (1)
Sister (1)
Though also a shout-out to overlooked deep cut Not Gonna Kill You.

The playlist:

John Coltrane - Blue Train: Blue Train and Lazy Bird are my favorites.

Sugar - Copper Blue: The Act We Act almost sounds like the perfect culmination of Husker Du spliced with the early 90's grunge that Bob Mould influenced so heavily in that band, If I can't Change Your Mind ushers in one of the very best jangle-pop songs right as the genre was fading away.

Daughters - You Won't Get What You Want: The only song here more intense than The Reason They Hate Me is Guest House, both of which are quite fun to listen to imo.

Tool - Aenima: The obvious choices are still the best ones, Stinkfist and Forty Six & 2. I spent weeks as a kid trying to learn the drum breakdown in "Forty" but never quite got there.

The Prodigy - Music for the Jilted Generation: Poison should stay but I'll also vote for Break and Enter which is probably a good introduction to The Prodigy in general.

The Sound - From the Lions Mouth: I had never heard of this album (or band) until this showed up in our MAA tournament last year and I immediately loved it! Winning and Silent Air are the two I listen to most.

Angel Olsen - My Woman: Shut Up Kiss Me really doesn't sound that much like the rest of Angel Olsen's discography but I hope she makes more like it because it's easily one of the best songs of the last decade. Sister is a roller coaster and opens up the second half of the album in a big way.

TV Party has been on my song rotation for the past few weeks and it is just great. It's also my introduction to Black Flag and although based on one listen it doesn't seem to be too representative of Damaged, it is unmissable. To me, the song is even more funny if you imagine the background/ chorus singers to look like the guy on the album: muscular, bald and aggressive. To add to that, it got a strange new connotation to me thanks to corona lockdowns, thanks to these lyrics:

"TV news shows
What it's like out there
It's a scare
You can go out if you want
We wouldn't dare
We've got nothing better to do
Than watch TV and have a couple of brews"

894. Charles Mingus | Let My Children Hear Music
I have to disagree with the official picks. My favorites are "Don't Be Afraid, the Clown's Afraid Too" and "Hobo Ho", though "The Chill of Death" would be a close third.

891. Popol Vuh | Hosianna Mantra
Another disagreement: My votes are for the title track "Hosianna-Mantra" and for the beautiful "Abschied".

While it'd be a stretch to call Damaged eclectic, it has enough variety that I don't see any one song as representative of the whole. TV Party does strike a similarly sarcastic tone to Six Pack but the latter song has a moodier intro than the straight-ahead hardcore of the former. You've got a range from sludgy howls of anguish (Damaged I) right back to anthemic anti-authoritarianism fitting of the band name's anarchist origins (Rise Above). Chuffed that you (and Frank) are equally taken with TVP anyway, it's a blast whether you use it to mock the targets of the song or to join them!

Votes:

Ace of Spades: & Love Me like a Reptile stays on the right side of sleaziness but (We Are) The Roadcrew shows their rarely spotted empathy, it makes you feel invincible when you're listening to it while travelling to other countries too.
High Land, Hard Rain: Oblivious & Pillar to Post are both maturely written jangle-fests, imbued with wisdom gained from hindsight but also with such wealth of melody, spirits are lifted when the subject matters could so easily dampen them.

From the last round, Stella would make Program Music I a genius album on its own, so I'd favour that, were I given the option of the two tracks.
All I got inside is vacancy!

Geez, I have a lot more albums in this lower end of the list than I thought...

Motorhead - Ace of Spades: There are a few songs where the guitar sounds so damn good that whenever I hear it I immediately get swept up with it (such as Voodoo Child or Since I've Been Loving You). Ace of Spades belongs in that group if for nothing else than the monstrous riff that clobbers you right from the start. Love Me Like a Reptile is an excellent follow-up and makes no effort whatsoever to slow things down.

The Clash - Sandinista!: I rarely have the patience to sit through this obscenely large album but there's a lot of highlights, my favorites being Police On My Back and Charlie Don't Surf.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Murder Ballads: Nick Cave apparently was pretty shrewd when it came to choosing featured singers because Henry Lee and Where the Wild Roses Grow are both some of his best.

Frank Sinatra - Songs for Swingin' Lovers!: You Make Me Feel So Young and I've Got You Under My Skin are rightfully considered the best from this album.

Mitski - Puberty 2: I honestly think that every track on this is great but I can't imagine anyone other than Mitski making Happy or Your Best American Girl and making them as perfect as they are.

Spoon - Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga: If somehow you haven't listened to Spoon before this is probably the easiest album to appreciate. Britt Daniel has a supernatural ability for making deceptively catchy hooks and they are all over this album, my favorites coming from Don't Make Me a Target and Finer Feelings.

Elliott Smith - Figure 8: I listened to this a lot when I was a kid and I can't tell you how incredibly eerie it was for his last song on his last album before his death to be called "Bye." Don't start with that, instead listen to Son of Sam or Somebody That I Used to Know.

The Breeders - Last Splash: Cannonball and Divine Hammer get my vote.

Serge Gainsbourg - Initials B.B.: This was another album I only discovered in our MAA tournament but I love it! Initials B.B. and Chatterton bookend the album nicely and were the two songs I liked most on first listen. (On a side note, it confounds me that a song like Bonnie and Clyde can be so catchy but have such an odd arrangement).

My votes for today:

871. King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard – Nonagon Infinity
Gamma Knife
Evil Death Roll

869. Phoebe Bridgers – Stranger in the Alps
Motion Sickness
Funeral

Funeral is the top pick here and one of the few songs that can bring me to literal tears. The way it contrasts self-pity and inexplicable melancholy with empathy is amazing. The last time I saw Bridgers live, with Better Oblivion Community Center, the song was transformed in a hard-rock freak-out for primal scream therapy. If you want to know why I put Bridgers on a pedestal start here. Sadly, it isn't currently on the playlist, because Motion Sickness and Acroamor's pick Scott Street outrank it.

860. Julia Holter – Ekstasis
Für Felix
Marienbad

I like Holter the most when she creates off-beat melodies that allow her to fluctuate her awesome vocals. I think there is no better composer for vocals since Brian Wilson since Holter and these two tracks, along with Silhouette from Have You in My Wilderness and I Feel Love from Aviary, are perhaps her masterpieces in the form.

870. Carla Bley & Paul Haines | Escalator Over the Hill: I wholeheartedly agree with the official picks Hotel Overture (one of the best pieces of jazz of the '70s) and Why ("His head full of other people's stomachs").
859. Faust | Faust IV: Here I also agree with the official picks "The Sad Skinhead" (that one especially) and "Jennifer".

Apparently I forgot The Specials on my list :x . It's gonna be pretty high up on the 1979 list with the best track "Doesn't Make It Alright" my number 3 of that year.

I was listening to this yesterday as it came up while playing this list randomly. I didn't know what to expect from something tagged as 'experimental big band', but this was quite awesome. Will check out the full album.

Yay! I came close to voting You Missed My Heart over Motion Sickness too.

Warning, don't quote out of context.
864. Jethro Tull – Aqualung Aqualung and Bourée without a doubt
Bourée is not from Aqualung, but from two albums earier: Stand Up. You can have another vote here.

Only two albums from my list today, but one is from my top 10.

849. Laura Marling – I Speak Because I Can
Goodbye England (Covered in Snow)
Hope in the Air
This could change day by day though. Very consistent album.

843. Kae Tempest – Let Them Eat Chaos
Tunnel Vision
Europe Is Lost
Although this album is consistent too, the choices here are more easy. Tunnel Vision is a song I have found myself returning to frequently since it's release, always when I despair the state of the world.

Unrelated to my votes, I love that we now have playlist were Carly Rea Jepsen follows right after Slayer.
