Hey gang! Now, most of you are actually in Europe, or at least countries that actively participate in Eurovision (the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, and Australia for sure, possibly even more), so don't think I'm trying to do whatever the equivalent of mansplaining (Europe-splaining?) is. I just think the contest is often unfairly stereotyped as all silly music and kitsch when there's plenty of good music to be found. So, just as an offering, here are some Eurovision songs I think the people here might appreciate, and are worth looking up.

Pretty much! I love it. So much good music to discover (and silly stuff too, of course). "Sanomi" is one of my very favorites - I do enjoy Turkey's winner, but you guys should've taken it.

Italy have consistently been great since their comeback. I picked my very favorites, but I can't think of an entry of theirs I've disliked since the '80s maybe.
