Must say I am not surprised by the lack of votes my nominations are getting. I guess people on this sub view Post Malone and Juice WRLD as basic pop stars. I guess I am in the minority here for feeling that Posty is the best and unique while still being fun popular artist out there from the last half of the decade.

I haven't been voting here much since I haven't been keeping up with new music, but I listened to a few including your two. The Post Malone song is actually pretty good, but Juice WRLD sounds like modern Simple Plan and I did my time with them in the 2000s.

Post Malone is quite a talented and inspired individual with his music and influences ranging from hip hop, alternative rock, folk, metal, etc... and honestly I view most auto tune as a stylistic choice. As an artist myself I have used auto tune for artistic purposes and I feel Post Malone does too as he really has a decent singing voice.

As for Juice WRLD. He has a lot of 2000s emo influence in his singing and he also sings well. But his lyrics and stuff turn people off more. I recommend the album Goodbyes & Good Riddance but it is understandable why he is harder to get into.

Juice's name is definitely peak late-2010's naming stupidity (maybe only topped by Yung Gravy) so he's got that going for him. I am going to be trying to listen to way more 2010s music in preparation for the polls next year so I'll keep both of these artists in mind!

I like his name. Rapper names are no different from band names. It is just a stage name.

My new favorite tune for the week : Kishi Bashi - A Song for You.
The album isn't half bad either (understatement !)

AND Metronomy - Wedding Bells

Now for me to nominate something that the listeners here might reject.

Rebecca Black - Do You?

(No, seriously. I think it's actually pretty good.)

With Post Malone’s new album out, I will nominate two new songs that I love. The Ozzy one is one of my favorite songs of the year.

Post Malone - Take What You Want (feat. Ozzy Osbourne & Travis Scott)

Post Malone - Myself

Tyler Childers - All Your'n

I hope I'm doing this right... I just nominate a song that's from this year?

If 'Circles' makes it through to next week, which could well happen, I will only be able to accept the first of these two this week.

As long as it's from the last six months, and hasn't been nominated before. Your choice qualifies.

Fine by me. Nominate the Ozzy one if that is the case.
