R.I.P. Hal Blaine

Hal Blaine, who is perhaps the greatest studio musician we've ever had, has passed away at the age of 90. Recordings that he played on are all over the AM list (it's estimated that he played on as many as 6,000 songs). To name just a few: "Good Vibrations," "Be My Baby," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and the Byrds' version of "Mr. Tambourine Man."
