Albums and Songs of the 1980s Poll: Yearly Results and Links

Post by Moonbeam »

This thread will serve as a link to the results for each yearly poll.

Users submit lists of their favorite albums and songs for the given year. Ties are allowed! Unlike in previous versions of decade polls, I will assign points to all items in user lists, where the points are defined as follows:

Yearly points = 300/(rank + 2)

Points for tied entries will be based on the average of their ranks.

After each year's poll is finished, the top 10 albums and songs automatically qualify for the finals, and the albums and songs ranked 11-20 will contend for 50 wildcard entries. The wildcard points are defined as follows:

Wildcard points = (Yearly points)/(number of ballots)
