Wow, that's so sad and shocking. RipNick wrote:The Talk Talk singer has reportedly died. He was 64.

RIP - so much more than just a singer - he was the main creative force behind that great Talk Talk sound.

Devastating news. His left behind an amazingly consistent set of records. Within the next day or two, I'll set a side some time to listen to his beautiful solo album again. Thank you for all the wonderful music Mark.

Sad news indeed. I only have the three middle Talk Talk albums, all of which I like. I suspect I'd like their debut and Laughing Stock as well.
Re: R.I.P. Mark Hollis
Man, this sucks. He was a truly unique and visionary artist, with a distinctive (and excellent) voice to boot.
Re: R.I.P. Mark Hollis
Just yesterday I wrote about my feelings for Laughing Stock in the 90s thread. Usually i'm indifferent about news like this, bt in this case it gets me. Maybe its the remote hope I still had to ever listen to new music by Mark Hollis again.
