A few more comments this time. Special thanks to Rocky Raccoon for commenting on every album.

No real surprises near the bottom of the list, but I'm a bit disappointed for The La's.

150. Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Score: 807.9 pts
Year of Release: 1990 (#19 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 367 (2072 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 178
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Highest rank: nicolas(26)
Not Fans: Brad(148), ChrisK(149), CupOfDreams(137), DaveC(144), FrankLotion(93/97), Listyguy(143), maverick470(126/126), phil(107/107), RockyRaccoon(136), rumpdoll(150)

RockyRaccoon: Decent metal, and "Holy Wars" kicks appropriate amounts of ass, but for the most part I find a lot of the genre a little too samey and cliché. 6/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://images.eil.com/large_image/TOOL ... 510903.jpg[/imgsize]

149. Tool - Ænima
Score: 843.6 pts
Year of Release: 1996 (#14 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 146 (766 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 210
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Highest rank: andyd1010(27)
Not Fans: BangJan(148), BleuPanda(141), Nassim(136), RockyRaccoon(138), sonofsamiam(148)

RockyRaccoon: The guys who used to listen to this in the '90s weren't really the guys I used to hang out with, for the most part. But there are some moments of it I can appreciate. 6/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://www.jbhifi.com.au/FileLibrary/P ... 5-L-LO.jpg[/imgsize]

148. blink-182 - Enema of the State
Score: 859.6 pts
Year of Release: 1999 (#12 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 294 (1635 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 93
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Fans: Henry(6)
Not Fans: Akhenaten(69/75), BangJan(150), Brad(150), CupOfDreams(146), FrankLotion(95/97), Gillingham(94/94), JamieW(148), Jirin(133/133), Listyguy(137), luvulongTIM(98/101), Nassim(147), rumpdoll(149), sonofsamiam(149)

Henry: Favorite songs include: What's My Age Again?, All the Small Things, Adam's Song, Don't Leave Me, Dumpweed, The Party Song, Going Away to College and Aliens Exist

Nassim: I love Dude Ranch, it's fun, punchy, dumb and catchy. How they only kept the dumb qualifier for their next album is a damn tragedy ; might not be a coincidence that the one OK song is the earnest one.
Punk Rock fans often praise Travis Barker of the genre's best drummer, but A. Scott Raynor was fantastic, B. 90% of what Blink-182 released since he joined sucks. I don't care how fast he can nail pedal kicks if the songs are bad.

RockyRaccoon: Brat-punk, but they wrote some pretty good songs, and a couple that were even better than that. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://janesaddiction.org/wp-content/u ... _cover.jpg[/imgsize]

147. Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual
Score: 876.9 pts
Year of Release: 1990 (#13 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 86 (465 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 269
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Highest rank: Jirin(14)
Not Fans: BangJan(140), Bruno(141), Listyguy(144)

RockyRaccoon: A pretty fun funky, metal, alternative-universe sound and vibe explodes out of the speakers. It works almost better as a whole than individual songs, because not all the songs are up to the standards of "Been Caught Stealing." 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_JPDwFHKB6dA/T ... 2%2529.jpg[/imgsize]

146. Alice In Chains - Dirt
Score: 891.5 pts
Year of Release: 1992 (#9 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 104 (545 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 79
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Fans: Bruno(7), LiveinPhoenix(7)
Not Fans: Akhenaten(70/75), Craig(121/122), KingofTonga(130/133), phil(101/107), rumpdoll(146), spiritualized(133/136)

RockyRaccoon: Alice in Chains was always my fourth-place band in the Seattle scene, sort of like the Kinks in the British Invasion of the '60s, but both of those bands did some excellent stuff. Here the highlights are "Them Bones," "Rooster" and "Would?" "I feel so alone / Gonna end up a big old pile of them bones." How prophetic. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://f4.bcbits.com/img/a0469728599_10.jpg[/imgsize]

145. Fugazi - Repeater
Score: 897.3 pts
Year of Release: 1990 (#18 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 115 (619 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 277
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Highest rank: CupOfDreams(26)
Not Fans: Craig(111/122), Jirin(120/133), LiveinPhoenix(76/76)

RockyRaccoon: I appreciate the overall asthetic and get a real kick out of the title track, but it's something I admire more from a distance than getting up close and truly loving. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]http://thesource.com/wp-content/uploads ... 395689.jpg[/imgsize]

144. A Tribe Called Quest - People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm
Score: 897.4 pts
Year of Release: 1990 (#9 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 164 (899 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 109
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 129

Highest rank: nicolas(18)
Not Fans: carlos74(131/142), ChrisK(147), Henry(149)

RockyRaccoon: A number of killer tracks from the afro-centric hip-hop movement of the late '80s and early '90s. "Can I Kick It?" Yes, they can. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://www.audiophileusa.com/covers400water/135511.jpg[/imgsize]

143. Fatboy Slim - You've Come a Long Way, Baby
Score: 898.1 pts
Year of Release: 1998 (#14 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 83 (445 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 147
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Highest rank: Brad(18)
Not Fans: BangJan(139), carlos74(128/142), Henry(144), JamieW(149), Listyguy(148), sonofsamiam(141)

RockyRaccoon: Electronic music, but with a rock 'n' roll heart, the way I like it. The repitition of this style of music is still there in places, but for the most part he overcomes it just because it's good. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://musiczone.ie/wp-content/uploads ... he-Las.jpg[/imgsize]

142. The La's - The La's
Score: 904.8 pts
Year of Release: 1990 (#17 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 99 (531 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 126
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 78

Highest rank: luvulongTIM(14)
Not Fans: BleuPanda(142), Craig(112/122), Nassim(138)

RockyRaccoon: A bunch of great little rock-pop tunes here, which somehow manage to pay tribute to the past (Rolling Stones and Kinks come to mind) while being present in the here and now of 1990. The center/masterpiece is of course "There She Goes," but the rest is worthwhile, too. 8/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0068/ ... 70841.jpeg[/imgsize]

141. Rage Against the Machine - The Battle of Los Angeles
Score: 904.8 pts
Year of Release: 1999 (#13 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 189 (1050 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 128
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Highest rank: RockyRaccoon(18)
Not Fans: BangJan(147), ChrisK(150), DaveC(141), Henry(143), Jirin(130/133), luvulongTIM(97/101), sonofsamiam(142)

RockyRaccoon: To me, this is the culmination of the Rage Against the Machine sound. Not to short-change the drums and bass, but it's really the Tom Morello guitar and Zach de la Rocha vocals that are the driving force behind this appropriately-named band. If you didn't come for the rage, you're in the wrong place; same as if you're not pissed off, you're not paying attention. 9/10.

140. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication
Score: 906.7 pts
Year of Release: 1999 (#8 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 183 (1017 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 50
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 148

Fans: Henry(2)
Not Fans: ChrisK(136), nicolas(111/115), rumpdoll(140), sonofsamiam(150)

Henry: Favorite songs include: Otherside, Californication, Scar Tissue, Easily, This Velvet Glove, Parallel Universe

RockyRaccoon: Many of their classic songs are here, and since I like the Peppers reasonably well, it gets an 8/10.

[imgsize 400x400]http://petshopboys.co.uk/media/article- ... 114f18.jpg[/imgsize]

139. Pet Shop Boys - Behaviour
Score: 906.8 pts
Year of Release: 1990 (#15 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 107 (553 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 254
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 142

Fans: Akhenaten(2)
Not Fans: CupOfDreams(141), Jirin(122/133), luvulongTIM(94/101), Nassim(148), phil(104/107), spiritualized(132/136)

RockyRaccoon: Very is more of my go-to Pet Shop Boys album of the '90s, but these synth-driven tracks have a way of snaking their way into your ears. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://static.stereogum.com/blogs.dir/ ... 40x640.jpg[/imgsize]

138. Spiritualized - Lazer Guided Melodies
Score: 920.6 pts
Year of Release: 1992 (#10 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 265 (1511 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 264
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 127

Highest rank: spiritualized(15)
Not Fans: bonnielaurel(146), JamieW(136), KingofTonga(132/133), phil(103/107)

RockyRaccoon: Not bad, has some moments, but doesn't really distinguish itself from the rest of the ambient pop/neo-psychedelia/dream pop/shoegaze/space rock/slowcore crowd. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://www.musicdirect.com/Portals/0/H ... 70217_.jpg[/imgsize]

137. Teenage Fanclub - Bandwagonesque
Score: 922 pts
Year of Release: 1991 (#16 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 111 (586 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 272
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 98

Fans: spiritualized(4)
Not Fans: BleuPanda(144), JamieW(146), Jirin(123/133), phil(105/107)

RockyRaccoon: Back in the day, Spin named this its number one album of the year, and about a week later Rolling Stone gave it a 1.5-star review. The truth lies somewhere in between. They definitely have a Big Star vibe, but a notch below. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://spectrumculture.com/wp-content/ ... -light.jpg[/imgsize]

136. Madonna - Ray of Light
Score: 931.8 pts
Year of Release: 1998 (#15 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 95 (494 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 72
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 85

Highest rank: Bruno(16)
Not Fans: andyd1010(87/92), Brad(147), Craig(110/122), CupOfDreams(142), DaveC(138), nicolas(115/115), spiritualized(131/136)

RockyRaccoon: One of my favorite madonna albums, which isn't necessarily saying much since I'm not a big fan, but the title track is a killer song. The rest suffers a little in comparison, but it's still pretty good. She always was more of a singles artist. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://prodimage.images-bn.com/pimages ... 50x406.jpg[/imgsize]

135. Mazzy Star - So Tonight That I Might See
Score: 937.2 pts
Year of Release: 1993 (#13 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 281 (1575 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 148
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Highest rank: Gillingham(16)
Not Fans: FrankLotion(96/97)

RockyRaccoon: "Fade Into You" is kind of a sucker punch, because it starts the album off so promisingly. The rest of the album is a bit too droopy for me and a mild disappointment. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://imagescdn.juno.co.uk/full/CS699563-01A-BIG.jpg[/imgsize]

134. Michael Jackson - Dangerous
Score: 939 pts
Year of Release: 1991 (#11 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 336 (1880 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 68
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Fans: bonnielaurel(4), Bruno(1)
Not Fans: BangJan(146), BleuPanda(148), Brad(146), ChrisK(137), CupOfDreams(149), sonofsamiam(145)

RockyRaccoon: It's got the good, "Jam," "In the Closet" and "Black and White" for example, and the schlocky, "Gone Too Soon," but he was a talented guy and the strengths outweigh the weaknesses. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://cps-static.rovicorp.com/3/JPG_5 ... 333607.jpg[/imgsize]

133. Mercury Rev - See You on the Other Side
Score: 940.3 pts
Year of Release: 1995 (#12 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: Bubbling
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 340
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Highest rank: BangJan(24)
Not Fans: Listyguy(136), maverick470(114/126)

RockyRaccoon: With the exception of a couple of pretty good songs, the rest just sounds okay, and I won't remember it when it's over. 6/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://www.amoeba.com/admin/uploads/al ... wded-1.jpg[/imgsize]

132. Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West
Score: 940.7 pts
Year of Release: 1997 (#9 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 163 (890 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 113
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Fans: Nassim(5), rumpdoll(15)
Not Fans: bonnielaurel(136), Henry(140), nicolas(110/115), sonofsamiam(147)

Nassim: I get why that album will probably end up pretty low, it's not trying to be welcoming at any point and it shows right from the start with over a minute of noisy guitar and screaming lead singing, but that's what the West is : a desolate place, full of anger, beauty and more often than not an emotional rollercoaster, that opening song starts so angry only so it can pull your heartstrings with the nicest guitar line, before bursting out your pain away.
And I'd also agree it's too late, Convenient Parking could be one minute shorter, Truckers Atlas 2 or 3, and I could live without Long Distance Drunk... but when it's good, well, pretty much nothing else can compete : the 16 minutes or so of music kicking off with Doin' the Cockroach are pretty much music perfection, but also an incredible catharsis for all the frustration cooked up by modern life : feeling like you are going through the motion, not amounting to much, trapped in role the modern society imposed you or in a boring life, you should at least find some comfort in not being alone to feel that way.
Styrofoam Boots / It's All Nice On Ice, Alright is also one of the coolest atheist songs around, so there's that too !

RockyRaccoon: The jittery rock rhythms and vocals of this album come together like the illegitimate children of Minutemen and the Pixies, at least that's the combination my ears hear. 7/10.

131. The Loud Family - Plants and Birds and Rocks and Things

Year of Release: 1993 (#14 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: Unacclaimed
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 232
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: N/A

Fans: Brad(10), Jirin(1)

Nassim: I was pretty pissed off when I saw that I'd have to listen to what is pretty much a Game Theory album, but turns out it is not that bad

RockyRaccoon: I like Game Theory stuff a little better, but this was pretty good. 7/10.

I'm not surprised my #1 did low because it's not one of the most accessible albums. But I'm surprised Ritual De Lo Habitual didn't do better.

It's hard to put my finger on why I love Plants And Birds And Rocks And Other Things so much but it's in my top 20 all time. It's like slightly distorted pop melodies that are still incredibly catchy. Like the melody plays off your expectations.

I don't think Been Caught Stealing is the only good song on Ritual. The other songs have a moody atmosphericness that has the 'soul' of the grunge movement but carves out something of its own that's not as hooky and catchy.

RockyRaccoon: I'm not the biggest fan of their brand of electronic music, but they do hit the nail on the head with some of these songs. Besides, it's what all the kids were dancing to. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://static.stereogum.com/uploads/20 ... 08x615.jpg[/imgsize]

129. Suede - Suede
Score: 952.2 pts
Year of Release: 1993 (#11 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 97 (510 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 166
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 128

Fans: Akhenaten(4), RockyRaccoon(12)
Not Fans: JamieW(139), LiveinPhoenix(73/76), maverick470(121/126), rumpdoll(143)

RockyRaccoon: Having been born and raised in England until 12, and then moved to the U.S. and lived here since, I feel uniquely positioned to understand and appreciate the cultural differences between the two countries on opposite sides of the Atlantic. This album is case in point, as I was receptive to its insight into English youth culture at the time even though I was a university student in the U.S. and the album barely made a blip in this country. It was just too English, musically and lyrically, much like Blur. For me, though, it struck a chord, and the fact that Brett Anderson's vocal performance combined with Bernard Butler's fantastic guitar work bring these tales home with maximum sonic impact also helps. 9/10.

128. Slowdive - Pygmalion

Fans: JamieW(6)
Not Fans: BleuPanda(145), FrankLotion(94/97), maverick470(116/126), RockyRaccoon(147)

RockyRaccoon: I didn't remember much about this album when it came time to write these comments, so after going back and listening to it, I get the impression that's just the way the band wanted it. 4/10.

127. Angelo Badalamenti - Soundtrack from Twin Peaks

Highest rank: phil(24)
Not Fans: Craig(117/122), CupOfDreams(136), FrankLotion(89/97), KingofTonga(125/133)

RockyRaccoon: Loved the show, and the soundtrack to it was appropriately spooky. 7/10.

126. Pixies - Bossanova
Score: 958.9 pts
Year of Release: 1990 (#8 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 127 (679 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 87
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 68

Fans: spiritualized(8)
Lowest rank: RockyRaccoon(135)

RockyRaccoon: I would have preferred Trompe Le Monde made the cut. That was the first Pixies album I heard, buying when it was newly released. I enjoyed it so much I checked out the rest of their catalogue and found I really liked Doolittle, but for whatever mysterious reasons I still can't put my finger on, this one just doesn't do it for me, and I've tried. 6/10.

125. Wilco - Being There
Score: 959.6 pts

Not Fans: CupOfDreams(148), Nassim(150)

Nassim: At the polar opposite of my #1, here is music where pretty much everything annoys me in an unrational way : the melodies, the singing, the production, the arrangement is giving me negative physical reaction and I almost end up angry after a couple songs. Usually a reaction would be better than being plain boring, but in this case, I really don't think that's the aim of the music which I would assume is supposed to be pleasing. I rarely had this complete reaction against some music (one of Game Theory 80s album had the same effet I think) and would rather not go through that again.

RockyRaccoon: A good mix of rock and pop songs with punk and even orchestral elements all coming together well. The back story about Richey James is a sad one, but he left behind a fine album. 7/10.

RockyRaccoon: One of my least favorite PJ Harvey albums, but seeing as how she's one of my favorite artists, it still finishes in about the middle of the pack on my list. On a song-by-song comparison, it doesn't quite stand up to the rest of her '90s output. 7/10.

RockyRaccoon: The devil's in the details, and the details he provides about his version of street life might make the devil run the other way. Heavy in a dark way, and I don't always like where he's going lyrically, but that seems to be part of the point. A rap milestone for a reason. 8/10.

RockyRaccoon: Richard James certainly taps into some interesting sounds. And by itself that wouldn't be enough to interest me, but in this case they're coupled with propulsive, forward-driven beats and pulses that keep the songs moving. There's also diversity from song to song, avoiding repitition for the most part over the ample play length. 7/10.

RockyRaccoon: I like the two Cave albums on this poll about the same, which is to say quite a bit without being overly enthusiastic. He's consistent, but after a while it all becomes a bit too much of the same for me, especially the glumness. "The Ship Song" is my favorite, so that puts this album one notch ahead of the other. 7/10.

RockyRaccoon: She spent a damn long time recording this one, and it was more than worth the wait. The closest to perfect for a country album I've ever heard. Part of the perfection comes from the fact it's not entirely country – not one of my favorite genres – but is rather a mix of country, rock and blues. The other part is a dichotomy. While these songs certainly sound slaved-over and polished to a gorgeous shine, there's also somewhat of a looseness in the performance that is purely the spirit of rock 'n' roll. 10/10.

RockyRaccoon: I just can't get past this guy's voice, and I usually enjoy unique vocals that other people don't like. The music alternates between some moments of genuine beauty, and some moments where it's just hard to listen to. 4/10.

Some of my favorites took a beating in that last batch. I expressed my surprise about Scott Walker in the songs thread, so the relatively low placement for "Tilt" wasn't shocking. However, I'll now say that I thought there were more Slowdive fans in the forum. (I'm sure my memory's faulty on that one, too. I was only gone from the forum for about five months, but my memory apparently thinks it was five years!)

If I'd have voted my #1 would have been So Tough (note though that the reason that I didn't vote is that I haven't heard a lot of this yet). This is a good placement for an often overlooked album, I guess, but I can't help myself by wanting more.

Regarding So Tough I'm proud for having nominated the winner of BMAA8. Currently sitting at my #314 AT.

New Adventures is my #228. When I saw REM in concert, Stipe made a comment about how it was not well received but he thinks it's one of their 2 or 3 best albums. I agree with Michael Stipe.

RockyRaccoon: As per a discussion in the best songs of the '90s thread, I'm not really a Cure fan, so "Friday I'm in Love" is one of my favorite songs by them. The rest of the album? It's got its ups and downs, but so does life. 7/10.

Nassim: Merging the poppish pleasures of There's Nothing Wrong This Love and the more layered ambition of Perfect From Now On, Keep It Like a Secret might be Built to Spill's defining album ; don't get me wrong, PFNO is the superior one but KiLaS is probably the best gateway to their discography : at times catchy, intense, deeply emotional and even humorous, it had all the tools to make Built to Spill a household name for rock fans. Somehow, it didn't really, but it still leaves us with some of the best songs of the decades : The Plan straight away shows the talent of the band for packing 3 or 4 good songs into one, Carry the Zero's intro is fantastic and the song only gets better from there, and I'm pretty sure Broken Chairs brought me to tears the first time I heard it (those whistles, they get me every time) and is one more reason with Doug Martsch is my personal guitar hero.

RockyRaccoon: Last time the were Perfect from Now On, and this time they almost delivered on that promise. This is exactly how lo-fi, fractured indie rock from Idaho should sound. I know, I've been to Idaho. 8/10.

RockyRaccoon: Of the three Slowdive albums to make the final cut, this is the one I like the best because it seems to have the most meat on its bones. The sound effects accentuate the songs rather than form them. That being said, I still don't understand how this band got three albums in and the Beastie Boys got ZERO. WTF? 7/10.

Nassim: Might be odd to have Rid Of Me as the lowest ranked PJ album in my list but while it's still pretty good ('cause, you know, it's PJ), it doesn't fully work for me past the amazing self-titled opener. It's not quite as catchy but relentless as Dry, or as elegant as To Bring You Of My Love or even as streamlined as Is This Desire.

RockyRaccoon: The first album was called Dry, and this one could easily have been called Raw. It takes the sound and themes of Harvey's debut to their extremes, and exposes her emotionally like few artists have been. 8/10.

RockyRaccoon: Vitalogy should be in this place if you have to choose Pearl Jam's second, perhaps first, best album. But Vs. is still chock full of prime PJ from the stomping rock of "Go" to the acoustic tones of "Daughter" to the classic rock stylings of "Rearviewmirror." 8/10.

LiveinPhoenix: I enjoyed "Treasure," and this is another winner by the band. The lyrics don't have anything to do with anything, but the music often evokes a bittersweet feeling; the last track in particular is almost painful to listen to, and personally suggests the feeling of time marching past a pleasant episode in your life that you can never really return to.

RockyRaccoon: It's neither, but closer to Vegas. 5/10.

Great observation on the Cocteaus LiveinPhoenix Great to see them doing so well. Honestly when in comes to instrumentation I think Liz’s voice should be mentioned in the same breath as Kevin Shields guitar work. To me vocals can totally make or break a great band. If you’re metal or punk inspired obviously there’s a sliding scale. I don’t mind Axel but Zack from Rage is like nails on a chalkboard. Funny that I actually like Rob Zombie’s voice and would actually prefer it over someone who sings like a strung out zombie ala Pavements lead “vocalist.” I suppose that’s still an improvement over a Frank Oz sounding muppet ;)

RockyRaccoon: There's an underlying sense of terror running through the layered production, and GZA provides his usual razor-sharp lyrics. The one drawback is that his delivery was never one of the more charismatic in the group, which shows up when the guest performers have their turns. 7/10.

But without other quality material such as the beautiful acoustic "Three Babies" and the propulsive drum-driven "The Emperor's New Clothes" it would have been a one-hit wonder. Turns out she had a lot more to offer, at least over the course of this album. 9/10.

RockyRaccoon: PJ Harvey is perhaps my favorite '90s artist, and her debut was a startling revelation of raw feminist power. With a mix of aggressive blues, alt-rock and her own unique talent, she plows through these songs about the pain of relationships. At the time, it made me wish her well. 8/10.

Fans: Brad(7), Nassim(1)
Lowest rank: bonnielaurel(130)

Nassim: As much as we like to explain why we love some stuff more than other, there is a point when it goes beyond any rational and it just feels like some music has been created specially for you. This album just hits home again and again with me, be it the melodies, the solos, the mood, lyrics… What I can pinpoint though is all those specific moments of pure grace, those precise seconds that get me like not much else : when the guitar and the violin collide with each other in the 1st chorus of I Would Hurt a Fly, the liberation that the 2nd chorus is, when Stop the Show speeds up with a bright guitar line at 4:48, the 3:18 mark on Made-Up Dreams ("I'm already gone now, you were outside just waiting") , the change of melody at 2:10 in Out of Sight, the 3rd minute of Kick It In The Sun and every goddamn second of Velvet Waltz from the intro to that incredible solo with both guitars somehow going both in different directions and perfectly with each other, when the violin enters at 2:07, that drum pattern, whatever the sound is at 2:49, the line "You better just enjoy the luxury of sympathy if that's a luxury you have" and its delivery, the way the guitar starts going mad around 4:30, when Doug goes "in the suh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh un"

RockyRaccoon: Not quite perfect, but pretty darn good. 7/10.

Not Fans: BangJan(149), CupOfDreams(150), Gillingham(90/94), Listyguy(149), nicolas(108/115), sonofsamiam(144)

Henry: Favorite songs include: Head Over Feet, Ironic, You Oughta Know, Hand In My Pocket and Right Through You

LiveinPhoenix: This works about as well as a Dave Coulier concept album possibly can. I thought that Morissette was way too popular, but that kind of problem basically takes care of itself. So now we're left with this album that remains moderately appealing, in a dorky sort of way (such as a song called "Ironic" that compelled some musicians to release "actually ironic" versions of the song).

RockyRaccoon: This album was massive, and mostly for the right reasons. "You Oughta Know" is the ultimate kiss-off to an ex, and I always assumed the true irony of "Ironic" was that a song with that title had very few examples of actual irony in the lyrics. Maybe I'm giving her too much credit. 8/10.

RockyRaccoon: Yo La Tengo's finest moment. The golden glow on the cover hints at the beautiful and warm sounds awaiting within. It's their most diverse album, consolidating all that had come before and improving on it. "Autumn Sweater" is amazing, and everything else is nearly as good. 9/10.

RockyRaccoon: It's easy to hear the influence on future rappers, especially telling personal tales of life on the streets, and there's a diversity of production that wasn't always present on rap albums of the '90s. But, and while I like it, there's still something I can't put my finger on that doesn't get it over the hump for me. 7/10.

RockyRaccoon: Whatever followed up Daydream Nation wasn't likely to be as good, but damn if this isn't pretty close. Where Daydream Nation held together as a sonic whole, this one is marked more by its individual songs, which are all really good. 8/10.

55. Ms. Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill

Fans: bonnielaurel(15), Bruno(2), RockyRaccoon(15)
Not Fans: Brad(138), DaveC(137), Listyguy(142)

RockyRaccoon: One part hip-hop two parts soul, Lauryn Hill's epic album is a tour-de-force from start to finish. Perhaps it goes on a little too long for my tastes, but when so much of it is this good, why complain? Too many good songs to single out one, okay, "Doo Wop (That Thing)." For whatever reason, I get a Stevie Wonder kind of feeling from this album. 9/10.

AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 12

Fans: Jirin(2), luvulongTIM(4)
Not Fans: spiritualized(125/136)

RockyRaccoon: Pretty much covers love from every angle, and although you'd expect it to flag over the course of 69 songs, it rarely suffers in quality. I'd name a few of my favorite songs, but there are just too many. Start with the first three songs and move on from there. 9/10.

RockyRaccoon: I once read this described as a concept album about turning 27. On a logical level that statement doesn't seem to make much sense, but somehow it also makes perfect sense, which is also what makes the music of Pavement such a wonder, making sense out of the illogical. How very rock 'n' roll. 9/10.

Fans: Henry(15)
Not Fans: JamieW(143), Jirin(121/133), LiveinPhoenix(69/76)

LiveinPhoenix: Once you get past a couple cool songs, the rest of the album is surprisingly, almost laughably ordinary (unless you count the occasional feeling that you're hearing Johnny Rotten sing psychedelic songs).

RockyRaccoon: The opener stakes out their musical and personal identity, or at least aspirations. The rest pretty much delivers on that. Yeah, they're way too cocksure, but being arrogant dicks is what these songs called for. 8/10.

RockyRaccoon: It's shoegaze, but with a variety of influences from going back decades. It seems like they were a little more lively and aiming higher than some of their contemporaries. Perhaps we should call the kneegaze. 7/10.

I see 69 Love Songs as being about the mythology of love.

The song on 50 Song Memoir covering 1998 is titled ‘Lovers Lies’. Not a big leap to think the song is about working on 69 Love Songs.

Hah, I didn't expect my list to be so dissimilar to Bruno's, especially since his all-time songs list is one of the most similar to mine, if not the most.

Striking how much higher the correlation coefficient is for sonofsamiam-BangJan than everyone else.

I am not too knowledgeable about statistical correlation, but I suspect that in some cases the negative correlations are due to folks not ranking all the albums - in your case only 92 out of 150. Probably, the correlations are only relevant amongst those who ranked all 150.

Should work pretty much the same but you may have to adjust for positions (e.g. a 50 in a list of 100 shouldn't be the same as a 50 in a list of 150). And ensure that you are not plotting/using ones not ranked (i.e. just blank for non-ranked, not a '0' or anything else). If you have correlated on positions, you'd be better plotting by something that spreads out the smaller lists in the same way (the points allocation could work).

That depends on whether unranked albums are being counted as 0, not counted at all, or counted as the average of their rankings.

If it's average of their rankings, it would trend correlations in the direction of 0. If it's counted as 0, then it depends whether the ones one person didn't listen to happen to be ones the other loved or hated.

RockyRaccoon: "Movin' on Up" is a pretty good Stones approximation, but this is one of the few albums in the AM top 100 that I feel has a big disconnect between how highly it's rated and how good it actually is. I guess that's my biggest gripe with it. "Damaged" ain't bad. 6/10.

RockyRaccoon: Document was a commercial breakthrough compared to the albums that came before it, but this one made them superstars, and deservidely so. Their most diverse album to date, it includes the stunning "Losing My Religion" with its haunting mandolin, the beautiful folksy pop of "Near Wild Heaven" and the surprising KRS-One guest spot on "Radio Song." 9/10.

Nassim: The defining album of my teens and one of my main gateway to music (I took some detours before getting to the more acclaimed stuff, but still, here I am). I honestly didn't get any of the lyrics back then, and didn't care, Morello and De La Rocha are effortlessly cool, even when angry, and about 20 years after discovering that music, I'm still enjoying it quite as much. Actually, seeing them live in 2008 is still one of my best live memories, the one time I turned into a crazed fan.

RockyRaccoon: The beginning of their distinctive call-to-arms sound. I think they refined and improved it on subsequent albums, but it's mostly all here already. 7/10.

Not Fans: JamieW(140), RockyRaccoon(140), spiritualized(128/136)

RockyRaccoon: At least they jam on this one, quite effectively in places, but it drags on about halfway through, and it's well over an hour long. 5/10.

I'll have another go at correlations another day when I've assimilated the points made by Phil & Jirin. I did inadvertently count the non-votes as zeros. 14 of 29 voters had some non-votes, so controlling for those will give more accurate results.

Fans: Brad(1), RockyRaccoon(9)
Not Fans: Akhenaten(75/75), bonnielaurel(139), luvulongTIM(96/101), nicolas(106/115)

RockyRaccoon: One of the hardest bands to describe. I'll just say in 1992, this sounded as fresh as anything around, even if I didn't understand what Malkmus was singing about half the time. They certainly didn't reinvent the wheel musically, but it sounded like they had at least painted it another color. 9/10.

RockyRaccoon: Everyone's favorite ice nymph hadn't gone full-on weird on her debut, although the signs were certainly here as she starts to build her distinctive style and sound. There's a lot to like here, but for me also a few flat spots. It's her most acclaimed album on AM, but I like Post-Medulla better. 7/10.

RockyRaccoon: This hip-hop ensemble's debut is kind of all over the place, as you'd expect with so many cooks in the kitchen, but it's still an exhilarating listening experience much of the time. Not as consistent as I'd like, and I don't exalt it as much as many, but I still enjoy it. 7/10.

RockyRaccoon: If possible, it's even more dense than A Nation of Millions, and almost as good. Chuck D brings the boom, Flava Flav brings the flavor, and the Bomb Squad brings the noise, which was still light years ahead of the competition at this time. 9/10.

I'm also in the minority who prefers the self-titled of Portishead to their landmark debut :) The menacing atmosphere is alluring as ever and Beth Gibbons sounds even more tortured. The closer "Western Eyes" is just sensational.

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is flat-out brilliant. We now have the likes of H.E.R and Daniel Ceasar trying to capture that magic of "Nothing Even Matters" but neither one of them is even half as good as D'Angelo or Ms Hill.

RockyRaccoon: Guitars, guitars, guitars and more guitars. And the drummer kicks ass, too. But it's the guitar and vocal interplay between Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker that is defining for this band. A glorious feminist punk outburst that was perfect for its time and our time now. 9/10.

And its on me, me alone ;) Its kind of hard to me to describe why music is important to me, but i'll try. Of course I only first listened to this around 2000 and it only grew important to me even more years after that. Now it seems to me that everytime I listen to it I discover something new and or start to love a new passage. Quite the opposite to "There's just not a lot of there there".

btw. i'm kind of suprised RockyRaccoon gave Emperor Tomato Ketchup 8/10

Henry: Favorite songs include: 1979, Stumbeline, Thirty-Three, We Only Come Out At Night

RockyRaccoon: It's boated at 2-hours long, but man they were pumping out some great music at this point. With songs as good as "Tonight, Tonight," "Zero," "Bullet with Butterfly Wings," "Thirty-Three" and "1979," I'm willing to put up with a little bloat. 8/10.

34. Nirvana - MTV Unplugged in New York

AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 48

Highest rank: Gillingham(11)
Lowest rank: Nassim(125)

RockyRaccoon: As much of a revelation as the Nirvana tracks we're all well-acquainted with are in these versions, it's Kurt's raw emotional vocal performance and the spot-on Bowie and Meat Puppets covers that are the heart of this album. 8/10.

AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 86

Fans: Bruno(12), Listyguy(13)
Not Fans: DaveC(145)

RockyRaccoon: "Black Hole Sun" is actually one of my least favorite songs on this album. And I really like it, which goes to show how good the rest really is. Showing off a range of musical styles no one could have guessed they were capable of, and writing some incredible hooks and lyrics, Soundgarden created a hard rock masterpiece. 9/10.

RockyRaccoon: In one of the previous iterations of the '90s poll, three albums that had until then slipped through the cracks of my listening experience were If You're Feeling Sinister, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, and this one. Of the three, this is the only that didn't tickle my ear bones. Decent, just overhyped. 7/10

Fans: BleuPanda(14), Henry(13), KingofTonga(8), RockyRaccoon(8)
Lowest rank: JamieW(121)

RockyRaccoon: A sonic mashup that at times seems all over the place, but is held together by the musical genius that was Beck in the '90s. He displays more diversity and originality on one song than most artists do in their entire careers. 10/10.

True. The formula I am using says a 'fan' has the album listed in the top 10% of the albums for which they voted. So, if you ranked less than 150 albums then you won't be a 'fan' of all your top 15.

RockyRaccoon: "Personal Jesus," "Enjoy the Silence" and "Policy of Truth" all deserve much of the praise they get, but I find the rest just pretty good. It's still my favorite Depeche Mode album, and at No. 70 in this poll, it's my highest ranked "7." Something about it just doesn't allow me to put it over the hump to an "8." 7/10.

Not Fans: Gillingham(88/94), LiveinPhoenix(72/76)

RockyRaccoon: Perhaps the most English album ever recorded, or at least since Village Green Preservation Society, and that's a good thing in this case. It's a tidy summation of so much that had come before, but at the same time adding its own modern twist. 8/10.

25. Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
Score: 1322.4 pts
Year of Release: 1998 (#1 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 46 (242 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 13
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 28

Fans: BleuPanda(6), Craig(11), Jirin(10), KingofTonga(5)
Not Fans: Akhenaten(68/75), bonnielaurel(144), Gillingham(87/94), Henry(139), LiveinPhoenix(74/76), luvulongTIM(93/101)

RockyRaccoon: A discovery of polls past, this one has become entrenched in my '90s hierachy. I enjoy the way the acoustic guitar is the lead instrument but augmented by a full backing band, and I enjoy the lyrics about life and death told in the tales about coming of age, love, Ann Frank, loss and so much more, including boys in jars. 8/10.

24. Elliott Smith - XO
Score: 1326.6 pts
Year of Release: 1998 (#4 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 82 (444 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 52
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 32

Fans: Brad(6), LiveinPhoenix(5), Nassim(10), phil(10)
Lowest rank: bonnielaurel(126)

Nassim: The first 6 tracks of this album are flawless, peaking with my favorite song either, Waltz #2. The rest of the album, which goes in the direction that will lead to Figure 8, his album I like the least, don't reach quite the same heights but let's face it, Elliott Smith could have written great songs in his sleep so even his lesser material is still pretty fantastic.

RockyRaccoon: My favorite Smith album because it has so many good, memorable songs that stand out to me, but at the same time it all seems to hang together so well. 8/10.

23. Mercury Rev - Deserter's Songs
Score: 1364.8 pts
Year of Release: 1998 (#5 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 62 (310 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 42
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 27

Fans: BangJan(1), carlos74(10), luvulongTIM(10), nicolas(10)
Lowest rank: Listyguy(135)

RockyRaccoon: It's good in a Flaming Lips Lite sort of way. 7/10.

22. Elliott Smith - Either/Or
Score: 1369.1 pts
Year of Release: 1997 (#4 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 48 (251 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 37
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 15

Fans: carlos74(9), DaveC(4), Listyguy(5), Nassim(2), phil(2)
Lowest rank: bonnielaurel(105)

Nassim: Not just my #2 on this list, but my second favorite album ever and a constant companion of the past 14 years of my life. Shortsight would tell you this is sad and self-deprecating, but I always found those songs to both be comforting through hard times and lovely for sunny days ; and it at least dares ending with sort of an optimistic tone.

RockyRaccoon: Elliott Smith just doing his thing, which is performing one intricately and delicately constructed pop song after another. They're all good, but I think he outdid himself on the next one. 7/10.

[imgsize 400x400]https://static.stereogum.com/uploads/20 ... 40x638.jpg[/imgsize]

21. PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love
Score: 1372.5 pts
Year of Release: 1995 (#5 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 31 (176 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 31
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 18

Fans: bonnielaurel(13), CupOfDreams(7), Gillingham(8), RockyRaccoon(2)
Not Fans: nicolas(107/115)

RockyRaccoon: From the sultry, bluesy bassline fading in on the title track to the redemptive organ closer "The Dancer," Ms. Harvey goes from laying with the devil to searching for God. In between we go on an epic journey covering a vast expanse of musical territory. It's Harvey at the height of her powers. 10/10.

Interesting to see how much better hip hop is faring in albums than songs (#26, #42, #43, #48).

Looks like Slint and Neutral Milk Hotel were very divisive/polarising - must have had relatively few middle range votes. For me both were at the top end, both just missing out on top 15. Slint was actually one of the albums I listened to for the first time for this poll (hearing it first in February). I remember almost dismissing it at the start (“This just seems monotonous/isn’t going anywhere”) and it took a few listens to really capture me.

20. Belle and Sebastian - If You're Feeling Sinister

AM 1990s albums rank: 36 (195 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 24
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 13

Fans: Brad(13), luvulongTIM(2), rumpdoll(11)

RockyRaccoon: Each song has its own interesting little character study, and the accompanying music breezes appropriately by with great melodies and nods to a variety influences. 8/10.

19. Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Score: 1395.1 pts
Year of Release: 1998 (#3 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 56 (276 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 47
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 34

Fans: DaveC(11), Gillingham(2)
Lowest rank: RockyRaccoon(90)

RockyRaccoon: There's a dark tension in all these songs, building an atmosphere you could almost cut with a knife. I think it coasts a little too much during the second half, but taken as a whole it still evokes the sinister mood they seemed to be going for. 7/10.

18. The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin
Score: 1400.4 pts
Year of Release: 1999 (#2 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 18 (111 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 25
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 9

Fans: ChrisK(12), DaveC(10), JamieW(14), Jirin(7), KingofTonga(1), sonofsamiam(3)
Not Fans: Nassim(142)

RockyRaccoon: I feel obligated to start off by saying Yoshimi is their masterpiece. But they were on to something here with a vaguely-weird, unique sound and lyrics to match. Next time out, it all culminated for them. 8/10.

17. DJ Shadow - Endtroducing.....
Score: 1412.3 pts
Year of Release: 1996 (#2 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 9 (76 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 19
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 19

Fans: BleuPanda(3), JamieW(11), Nassim(3), rumpdoll(3), sonofsamiam(1)
Not Fans: bonnielaurel(149), carlos74(142/142)

RockyRaccoon: This guy obviously has an extensive album collection, and it sounds like he put it to good use here. Making music out of music, a sonic cut-and-paste job that's an exhilarating ear experience. 8/10.

16. Björk - Homogenic

Year of Release: 1997 (#2 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 35 (190 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 12

Fans: BleuPanda(10), bonnielaurel(3), DaveC(12), Gillingham(3), KingofTonga(6), nicolas(5)
Lowest rank: spiritualized(85/136)

RockyRaccoon: Thematically more cohesive than Post, but I give the other album a slight nod for diversity. Still, this is prime Bjork. 8/10.

That 16-30 section is just one classic after another. I think I'll end up preferring it to the top 15 on the whole.

The biggest surprise for me is Soft Bulletin's placement. I thought it was a no doubter in the top ten.

15. Pulp - Different Class
Score: 1477.2 pts
Year of Release: 1995 (#4 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 19 (119 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 36
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 16

Fans: Brad(15), carlos74(7), DaveC(8), luvulongTIM(7)
Lowest rank: Listyguy(114)

RockyRaccoon: His 'n' Hers was good, but only really hinted at what was to come. The themes of sex and class structure are brilliantly examined by Jarvis Cocker's insightful lyrics, knowing the two aren't mutually exclusive. And as for the music, it perfectly accompanies the lyrics with one great pop hook after another. 9/10.

14. The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Score: 1550.4 pts
Year of Release: 1993 (#1 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 24 (133 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 14
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 24

Fans: BleuPanda(8), ChrisK(13), FrankLotion(7), Henry(3), maverick470(2), Nassim(15), RockyRaccoon(11)
Lowest rank: JamieW(133)

Henry: Favorite songs include: Today, Hummer, Mayonaise, Geek USA, Cherubh Rock, Disarm, Soma,

RockyRaccoon: Great bands usually have a distinctive sound, one that when you hear it you immediately know who it is. That's definitely the case with Smashing Pumpkins, and nowhere is that more apparent than on Siamese Dream. Of course Billy Corgan's voice is part of it, and I can understand why some people wouldn't like it, but to me that's rock 'n' roll. The sound is also huge, arena-ready with those buzz-sawing guitars. Even the slower-tempo songs take on epic proportions. A definitive album of the '90s. 9/10.

13. Oasis - (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
Score: 1565.2 pts
Year of Release: 1995 (#3 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 10 (77 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 9
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 20

Fans: andyd1010(2), Brad(9), Bruno(9), ChrisK(11), DaveC(14), Henry(1), Listyguy(8), luvulongTIM(6), maverick470(8)
Not Fans: Gillingham(93/94)

Henry: Favorite songs include: Champagne Supernova, Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall, Cast No Shadow, She's Electric, Morning Glory, Some Might Say, Hello

RockyRaccoon: One smash after another. Yeah, they were full of themselves, but for one album they completely had the right to be. 8/10.

12. Björk - Post
Score: 1570.5 pts
Year of Release: 1995 (#2 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 40 (211 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 11
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 7

Fans: BleuPanda(9), bonnielaurel(1), KingofTonga(11), luvulongTIM(5), nicolas(8), rumpdoll(10), sonofsamiam(13)
Lowest rank: maverick470(74/126)

Nassim: I might jinx it by typing this comment, but I always find it funny that in pretty much all our polls, no matter how many voters or what the scoring system is, Post and Homogenic end up next to each other in the final ranking (or at the very least pretty close), and my votes are not going to make that change as I rank them next to each other. They also always end up above Debut, despite what the, puzzling, AM ranking says.

RockyRaccoon: Her full creativity of display, Bjork ventures into a number of genres and pulls them all off with her unique Icelandic weirdness. 8/10.

11. Jeff Buckley - Grace
Score: 1576.2 pts
Year of Release: 1994 (#2 in year poll)
AM 1990s albums rank: 6 (54 all-time)
AMF 2017 All-time poll 1990s rank: 6
AMF 2012 1990s poll rank: 5

Fans: BleuPanda(12), Bruno(10), ChrisK(9), Craig(8), DaveC(15), Henry(8), Jirin(6), Listyguy(2), maverick470(10), nicolas(3), spiritualized(12)
Not Fans: CupOfDreams(140)

Henry: Favorite songs include: Hallelujah, Lover, You Should Have Come Over, Last Goodbye

RockyRaccoon: I'm still no closer to thinking this is a masterpiece than I was during the last two '90s polls. I quite like it, but that's a far cry from anointing it one of the greatest albums of all time. "Last Goodbye" and "Hallelujah" are good, though. 7/10.
