I have confused the voices of Elton John and Father John Misty a couple of times too many already. It doesn't help that they both have the piano as their favorite instrument.

Mott The Hoople "All The Young Dudes" certainly sounds like Bowie, but that doesn't qualify since he wrote and produced it. Is there a good Bowie soundalike that he was not involved with?

But it's not that surprising that they sound similar once you find out Carlos's younger brother is the bandleader. They probably heard a ton of the same music growing up (and probably jammed together a lot, too).
