I'll write more about the album later, but I will say that its mere existence is absolutely hilarious.

So the Arctic Monkeys are propelled into indie rock icon status with their album AM and as such instantly gain a legion of new fans who fall in love with the album's hard rocking, yet also very pop-oriented and accessible style. So what do they do next? Well they do nothing for five whole years before releasing an album of lounge music about a 1970s style hotel on the moon.
