Scott Hutchison, the lead singer and songwriter of the Scottish band Frightened Rabbit, has been found dead after being reported missing earlier this week. He disappeared after posting a couple of disturbing tweets that read like farewell messages; Hutchison had battled depression his entire life and, according to family and bandmates, seemed to have been in a particularly fragile state recently. They spent the past couple of days pleading for his safe return, but his body was found early this morning:

Hutchison was 36. Terrible, terrible news.

Since reading his final tweets on Wednesday, I've been anticipating this horrid news. Scott has always given a voice to the torn and tortured. As someone who.has battled depression most of my life, his words have given me great comfort. R.I.P.
