The Weekly Chart - The Classics Edition - Nominations wanted !
Hello to all,
Here's an idea which has bugged me for a while - we all have songs we love and I would love to be able to have a platform to share them on - the MAA and overlooked, etc... are great games, but the turnover is rather slow. I thought I could use the AMF Weekly Chart format to allow people to nominate ANY song, no holds-barred and pit them against each other in a voting contest. Same rules, Top 10 stay with 10 new nominations each round.
Not sure if the weekly format suits this, so I would play it by ear.
All I need to gauge interest is 20 nominations, and see what happens.
So, from a playlist of 18671 great songs, here is my random nomination :
Bob Dylan - Million Miles
[quite suited for a "classics" edition ]

Yeah for sure! I’ll try to go for more obscure stuff next time around but I figured I’d start with an oldie but a goodie.spiritualized wrote:Wow a sure Hoffer this one

If we're going to make this work, I think there needs to be a limit to how many songs from the AM list can be included each week (with the limits becoming less strict as you go farther down the list).
Right now, I'll nominate:
Pixes - Silver
