I feel very strange that you make 3 different lists for 1,001 Songs You Must Hear Before You Die, and 10,001 You Must Download (2010)
one for 2010 , one for 2015 and one for french version.
It's lists which evolved with times. i only hope that you give in total for these 3 lists a same coefficient that a single list.
Otherwise, it's not fair.
Ok between the french & english version, there's many differences but the french book was conceived from the english one.
And i don't understand the 2 separate lists between 2010 & 2015, there's no so many changes.
At the end, there's songs which are well rated and don't deserve it.

Shania Twain's "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" is from 1997, not 1999.
There should also be an exclamation mark after "Woman".

Listening to Haim got me here... :-?

Bruce Springsteen's "I'm Goin' Down" is from 1984, not 1985.
Similarly, Streets of Philadelphia is from 1993, not 1994.

I’d like to get thoughts on this:

1. Merge The Isley Brothers’ ”That Lady” and ”Who’s That Lady” and file under 1964.
2. Merge The Isley Brothers’ ”That Lady” and ”Who’s That Lady” and file under 1973.
3. Assume that the listed including ”Who’s That Lady” actually referred to ”That Lady” (1973 version).
4. Keep the songs separate (as it is).

I think you should keep them separate. The recordings are different in so many ways and we should assume that the critics were aware of the different versions.

I never posted here before even though i visit this site frequently.

And I know this've been discussed earlier but I think it's completly wrong that Radiohead - True Love Waits included in the 2001 list. That version is a live acoustic version and has nothing to do with the studio version in 2016. Maybe that's not an error but I think the decision to include it in the 2001 list should be reconsiderd.

Sorry if these have been mentioned/discussed before, I’m new here...

1. The full title of the Buzzcocks’ “Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)” should be listed - this was the title of the single release. The rear of the original LP sleeve lists it just us “Ever Fallen in Love” with no question mark, but the vinyl itself lists the full single title with a question mark inside the end bracket

2. Shouldn’t “Stan” by Eminem Feat. Dido show on Dido’s page in the same way that “Crazy in Love” shows on Jay-Z’s page and “Happy” on Pharrell Williams’

3. Personal pedantry I know, but perhaps the Bowie song from 2016 is represented by the symbol ★ rather than a word. Perhaps it could be “★ [Blackstar]”

4. More pedantry: I’d list “96 Tears” as being by ? And the Mysterians rather than Question Mark and the Mysterians

5. I think it’s a bit daft not to have the full spelling of “F*** tha Police” by N.W.A. as that’s just a censorship thing

6. Similarly, I think the case for listing Sam & Dave’s “Hold On, I’m Comin’” using the single title is weak: I think it should match their 1966 album title rather than using the single one that is listed which was designed to sound less risqué (and I’m really not sure it does!)

Yes, but Pharrell is the main artist on Happy.

The spelling of Mory Kanté's Yé Ké Yé Ké veries from place to place, but the original single named it lke this, so I think that should be used. RateYourMusic does to to. Currently it is named Ye Ke Ye ke on AM.

This has been discussed before. It was decided that "Stan" should not be shown on Dido's page since it's a sample. Dido's vocals were not recorded for this song.

Other than that, I think I agree with everything. Thanks!

Again this may have been discussed before but I don't see how 'Round Midnight by Thelonious Monk can be from 1946 - he didn't record it until late 1947! According to RYM the Blue Note single (543) was released (as 'Round About Midnight) in 1948, though Discogs says 1947. Also the apostrophe is missing at the beginning in the way it currently shows on this site.
