Looking forward to more listens.

In particular, the last two songs D.O.A. and Never Say Die seem to be a lot more "serious" than anything they've done before. But the things that made Treats essential listening are still here - Krauss' cutesy yet ferocious vocals, a machine gun drum machine, and that huge guitar sound. Less fun than Treats? Absolutely. But there's still plenty to enjoy here.

Kindred has been perhaps my favourite release of the year so far. Though Parastrophics by Mouse on Mars hit the shelves today and I could see that leapfrogging it after another listen or two. Highly recommended to any electronic music fan like yourself, if you haven't had the chance already.
