A huge month again: back in the day of physical releases, September/October were always the biggest months, looking forward to Christmas shopping. This year seems to be reverting to form although it's probably entirely coincidental.

Lucinda Williams releases "This Sweet Old World" on October 6. Julien Baker's sophomore album "Turn Out the Lights" comes October 27.

Yes, it's actually titled "This Sweet Old World" to differentiate from the 1992 release. I'll correct my earlier post.

MASSEDUCTION is immediately rivaling American Dream for my album of the year. St. Vincent's best yet (each of her albums is better than the one before).
