I recently found out about this podcast that's been going on since 2014, called "Song Exploder". I apologize if I'm being a noob. The podcast is produced by Hrishikesh Hirway. On each episode of the podcast, an artist breaks down one of their songs, talking about the stories behind the song and the process of writing and producing the song. Mr. Hirway mixes in the individual master tracks while the artists are talking so that the listener can follow along. Mr. Hirway also has a few episodes about songs in TV shows and movies, including Game of Thrones and La La Land.
To start off, since it is currently our #1 song in our 2007 poll, here's MGMT talking about "Time to Pretend". Apparently ABBA's "Dancing Queen" is sampled on the song! It was a weird revelation to me, too. You get a pat on the back if you already knew that.

And here's Norah Jones. Because she's awesome.

Re: "Song Exploder" Podcast
Oh boy, that's cool! I never knew that Time to Pretend factoid (and that's odd, being my AT #2). Can't wait to hear some of these!
