Upcoming Albums: September 2017
If I'm missing an album worth mentioning, please let me know. I'll add it to the list. (I'm basically just grabbing the artists who I know are big or whose recent releases have all had high metacritic scores, so I'm especially weak in the area of new artists)

Added, and September is now tied with August in number of butts on album covers...maybe (I have no idea what's happening on one of those covers).DocBrown wrote:Torres' "Three Futures" due September 29.

In for Ariel, LCD, Cut Copy, Godspeed! and The National.
Re: Upcoming Albums: September 2017
In addition to American Dream getting stellar reviews, Mogwai's album is also sitting at an 84 currently.
(I love the incidental juxtaposition between their album covers)

Re: Upcoming Albums: September 2017
From early reviews, looks like Alvvays is underperforming, The National will be doing about as well as their other albums, while Neil Young and Mount Kimbie are doing well but only at 5 or 6 reviews. We'll see how more reviews change these numbers.
Re: Upcoming Albums: September 2017
I'm happy to see The Horrors are starting off with strong reviews; I was afraid they were going to be a band that peaked near the beginning of their career and simply sputter out over time.
