8. The Postal Service - Give Up vs. 2. Joanna Newsom - Have One On Me
As easy as they get. Apart from Such Great Heights I still don't get Give Up. There's also more variety in every one minute of Have One On Me than on it's opponent's whole length.

5. Grinderman - Grinderman vs. 3. Lana Del Rey - Born to Die
Far more difficult. Grinderman is very consistent, more so than Born to Die. But Born to Die wins because it has far more songs that are truly remarkable and original.

6. Jackson C. Frank - Jackson C. Frank vs. 1. Leonard Cohen - Live Songs
Going with my own nomination here, even if he has a kindred spirit as a competitor that's really putting the heat on him. If every song on Jackson C. Frank was as strong as Blues Run the Game or I Want to Be Alone it might have won my vote, but things get a little to samey after a while, whereas Cohen finds new live in each song like never before.

7. Morrissey - Years of Refusal vs. 4. Astor Piazzolla - Libertango
I really liked Libertango last round, but only now I noticed how truly great it was. Years of Refusal is solid Morrissey doing Morrissey, but I can get that elsewhere too.
