AMF Weekly Chart 17.23
Here it is at last, instalment n°23 of the Acclaimed Music Forum Chart !
Many thanks for your renewed votes, strong show again with 119 votes
Noteworthy :
A return to the top spot for LCD Soundsystem's "Call the Police"
The chart sees two new entries with Radiohead and Lorde's latest singles
Slowdive's Sugar for the Pill reaches the Pantheon
Kicked out : Future Islands / Blanche / Priests / 5 Billion in Diamonds / Alt-J
A tie in 10th place brings 11 lucky songs to the next round - Foo Fighters and Carly Rae Jepsen barely save their skins
After a terrible week in nominations, you guys took your revenge with a record number of nominations and secondments. This means there is no room for the new songs from the Mcch. They are reported to next week.

The Killers - The Man
Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand - Sir Duke (1976)
Re: AMF Weekly Chart 17.23
The best week I can remember on the chart. Only 10 votes means some tough choices.

Radiohead - Lift, and is it possible for the best song of 2017 to have actually been made 20 years earlier?

I don't know if they didn't like it - they just thought it was too commercial cuz they're Radiohead and they were kind of pains in the ass in 1997.Jamoo721 wrote:Blows my mind that they threw this and 'I Promise' to the side for not being good enoughStevieFan13 wrote:Radiohead - Lift, and is it possible for the best song of 2017 to have actually been made 20 years earlier?

'Man of War' probably actually my favourite of the 3. Probably too late to nominate it this week. if not I'll nominate it.StevieFan13 wrote:I don't know if they didn't like it - they just thought it was too commercial cuz they're Radiohead and they were kind of pains in the ass in 1997.Jamoo721 wrote:Blows my mind that they threw this and 'I Promise' to the side for not being good enoughStevieFan13 wrote:Radiohead - Lift, and is it possible for the best song of 2017 to have actually been made 20 years earlier?
