Kinda hoping that is an obscure Swedish film reference.

About 48 hours to go. I'm hoping to see as many as 9 more lists. Right now there are two un-acclaimed songs in the top 10. The first we've had in this decade. While this is a very positive development, if you don't vote then your favourites may miss the cut.

ALBUMS results.

32 voters voted for 157 different albums.
With six albums looking good for wildcard slots, 2004 will likely get 16 albums through to the decade poll. Pretty good for what is sometimes thought a lesser year for music.

Rank | Artist | Album | Points | # Voters

1 | Arcade Fire | Funeral | 891 | 25
2 | Kanye West | The College Dropout | 461 | 19
3 | Franz Ferdinand | Franz Ferdinand | 312 | 16
4 | Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds | Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus | 267 | 13

I'll definitely say the Green Day upgrade is for the better.

Also, for all that talk of the eligibility of Prince and company's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," I'm pretty sure I was the only one who voted for it (though I was right that it didn't hurt the chances of "Jesus Walks" at all).

I don't think you detected that Jackson changed his list slightly, he now has Blueberry Boat at #2, not #3.

Thanks Bang Jan. I will fix the details later. Fortunately my mistake doesn't change the top 10.

Leaf House and Sung Tongs not even close, I'm bit surprised. Biggest shocker is Annie's Heartbeat though, I thought everyone loved it(was close to making my list).

Not quite. I had it in my top 10 and was rather surprised it didn't get any other support. Moonbeam didn't submit a list this month, but I would've been very curious to see his opinion of the song (Prince vs The Beatles - an ultimate match of good vs. evil for him.) :P

Also, if Moonbeam had submitted a list, I wonder if it would've been enough to push "Heartbeat" through. (I think it may have been his #1.) At the very least, I think it would've been in a good position for a wildcard spot and I definitely prefer it to most of the songs that did make it through.

Very happy to see Jesus of Suburbia in a rather solid wild card position. I'd be lying if I said I cared about losing Heartbeat though.

Yay, rooting for Green Day all the way. Looks like two songs will make the finale. And AI in all likelihood will do very well in my decade album list.

I have edited the results post above now. The only significant change is to push Blueberry Boat up a couple of places in the wildcard ranking. An album I'm happy to see do well even though I didn't give it any points.

Wow, "Jesus Walks" didn't do nearly as well as I was expecting it too...It BARELY made the top 10. I though it would be a lock for the top 5.

I would have placed Prince et al's While My Guitar Gently Weeps somewhere in the middle of my top 15, maybe toward the top. But I missed the debate and figured it was a strange case and it wouldn't contend.

Nice! I was hoping that would improve its spot in the rankings.

4 Arcade Fire songs in the top ten, at the expense of songs like "Heartbeat", seems a bit much...
