Odd Future - Oldie
Public Enemy - Rebel Without a Pause
Nas - Halftime (though I could do without the homophobia)

Fine don't like the word, it's not a homophobic song. There are plenty of words I don't like in songs but I don't label it as something that it isn't. I've listened to that song plenty of times and there is nothing homophobic about it. I'm sure you didn't mind him or other artists that use the n word but you tolerate that. Give me a break.

Albums
pass : as time passes, Late Registration has become my 2nd least liked favorite Kanye album. The Score would beat Graduation and lose against the other ones... but here it's pretty much a tie.
Beastie Boys - Licensed to Ill
Kanye West - Yeezus
pass, will try to give another spin to the Money Store before the deadline

Songs
GZA - 4th Chamber
Public Enemy - Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos (would have been a way easier choice with the fantastic Tricky version of Black Steel)
A Tribe Called Quest - Scenario
Odd Future - Oldie
IAM - Demain c'est Loin (only easy pick of the week)
Nas - Halftime
Missy Elliott - Work It
Pete Rock & InI - Grown Man Sport (Dan the Automator's production has the upper hand, but Del the Funky Homosapien delivery doesn't work at all for me)

Roar, roar, like a dungeon dragon.

Well I know you are fairly new to the forum, but that's a very un-AM guess :
- The Seed 2.0 has always faired very well in polls and games here
- As a general rule, music played with instruments has an edge over sampled music
- As a general rule, music with a sung section has an edge over music only rapped

That doesn't mean a sampled or rapped song can not win a poll or beat rock or other genres, but betting odds would often be against it.

Huh. Phooey to that, but I guess you're right. Is it too late to change my vote? I guess I assumed Scenario would win because it was the more famous of the two.

I have no idea what caused me to vote against "Scenario" last week. In my defense, the vote was 90% for Cody Chesnutt and 9% for ?uestlove's drumming.
