We passed the 100 tracks!
The Ty Segall tracks:
Warm Hands (Freedom Returned): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqD_4ZvxI48
Orange Color Queen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbEQgKFor9Y
Take Care (to Comb Your Hair): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bycWOz6RwIg
Otisredding, did something change about the scoring? I'm confused why an album like the one by Hooray from the Riff-Raff could better it's score and still drop 6 places in the list.

Bob Dylan's Triplicate got a very good MetaCritic score, but didn't make it here. What rating did it get here?

Thanks, that's quite a discrepancy with the MetaCritic score.Otisredding wrote:Rob wrote:Bob Dylan's Triplicate got a very good MetaCritic score, but didn't make it here. What rating did it get here?

Speaking of which... I hate to be a broken record, Otisredding, but I'm going to ask again about the absence of Valerie June's The Order of Time, which has an 89 on Metacritic. I realize it has only 10 reviews, but I've seen albums make Mega-Critic with fewer.Rob wrote:Thanks, that's quite a discrepancy with the MetaCritic score.
Damn, DAMN.! I guess there's going to be a new #1 next time, huh? It's up to 13 reviews on MC, and its score actually went up to 99.

MCCh is not Metacritic
MCCh takes into account media from all over the world (not only from USA and UK, which is what Metacritic does)

Hi Otis, tried to send you a PM, but the message seems to be stuck in the Outbox....
Thought about a few more sources for your Mcch :
1- clashmusic.com
2- loudandquiet.com
3- http://www.residentadvisor.net (a bit more electronica in the chart won't hurt )
Thanks for looking them up !

There was a mistake. Hurray For The Riff Raff has worsened the score
Thanks for your notice.
Re: MCCh 2017 (06) April 15
Should also bear in mind, MCCh gives explicit bonuses for number of reviews to counteract variance whereas Metacritic just accepts the variance.
Metacritic also has a factor that pushes ratings away from the mean, so high scores are higher than their actual average.
