Since those albums are not on Bleu's last list of eligible albums, I'm going to say... yes.

They were in Group A, so no, and there is no longer room in that section.

Oh, I thought they were Group B. I should really check beforehand. I still don't regret nominating that third Sign 'O' the Times song.

How were Group A and B separated? I could've sworn Group A was for albums in the (unofficial) top 100 and Group B was for albums from 101-200. But I don't know.

BleuPanda wrote:3. There are two groups below with different rules for voting:
Group A: These are the 128 albums featured in the first tournament. 32 songs from this section will be put into a quarter of the bracket. There is no limit to the amount of songs that can come from an album, but a user is limited to one song per album (so User A and User B can both nominate songs from the same album, but User A can't fill the entire section with Trout Mask Replica tracks).
Group B: Each of these albums get exactly one song. These are albums #129-225 on the acclaimed music list. Though nominations are locked in as soon as someone votes, the person who voted for an album can decide to switch which song they want at any time - hopefully, if enough people point out that another song would perform better, you will consider changing it, but it is your choice once you claim an album.

So now we're just waiting for Cream...

I have the bracket ready, whichever song is chosen will face off against that Rage Against the Machine song everyone was talking about.

Those final choices seem destined to lose in the first round... I listened to the Rod Stewart album yesterday assuming that no one else would pick it, and I was right.

Yeah; last time, a lot of the final choices were from albums that only had a couple eligible tracks, but I think some of those actually did well? We're now entering the territory of albums that don't have particularly notable fans on the forum.

I imagine if there was more room in Group A there'd be more diverse selections - I wish I had voted for a few more group A B-sides.

But the whole point is we've already done Group A; this tournament is really about Group B, with Group A as a bonus section for songs that missed the first tournament for whatever reason.

I was also about to nominate Wake Up when I saw it was too late. Then it was a pleasant surprise to see it in the bracket.
