Congratulations to DJ Shadow's "Nobody Speak" and Sturgill Simpson's "In Bloom" for both making our Hall of Fame this week! "Nobody Speak" becomes the second song to enter the Hall of Fame after being eliminated and re-nominated into the Chart (the first being David Bowie's "Lazarus"), and "In Bloom" becomes the first cover song to enter. Big shake ups as we enter the end of the summer music season! Due to DJ Shadow and Simpson's automatic retirements from the Chart, the top 10 songs otherwise went through to this week.

Here is this week's 19-song Spotify chart (with 1 song included below via YouTube link):

Here is your 2016 AMF Chart playlist of all songs on the chart so far this year:

Thank you all for voting and nominating continuously every week! Please don't be afraid to supply us with nominations - all songs six months old and younger (or who have received promotion via album/video/single in the last six months) are accepted! And seconding nominations by others gives those songs a better chance at making the next poll!

As per usual, the next poll will be created as close to Sunday at 19:00 UTC as I can make it. Best of voting! :D

Apologies Romain and spirit - I didn't realize at the time, Preoccupations' "Anxiety" is a repeat nomination, and would need two seconding nominations to re-enter the Chart. Feel free to try renominating it for next / another week's Chart if you still want to support it!

And apologies to Johnny - Digital Analogue's "Cafe Royal" doesn't seem to satisfy our six month age limit. Let me know if I'm incorrect in this matter, though!

I'd like to nominate "Swings and Waterslides" by Viola Beach (R.I.P.) and "Charlemagne" by Blossoms.

Schoolboy Q - 'Ride Out' would be one of the most sinister-sounding tracks ever to get on our list

Seconded. We need more sinister tracks in here - the only one I can really think of is last year's HOF member, "Piss Crowns Are Trebled".

Also, one thing I really enjoy about this chart is the personal investment of seeing how well your own nominations do. I'm glad to see my nom - "Nobody Speak" - make it into the HOF, even though it slipped off the chart after my initial nom. I'm doing worse though than the past two years though - I had three tracks make the HOF each year. Bad luck? Or are my tastes diverging from the forum's as time goes on?

And since nobody else has stepped in yet, I'll throw a nomination for Green Day's new single, "Bang Bang".

Absolutely. Shadow's first two albums are all-time favourites of mine, and it's great to hear him back in form.

I was a more active nominator two years ago and proud of my HOF noms. Most of what I submit doesn't stick, and I'm OK with it. I appreciate the diversity of taste and lack of judgment on the chart threads. Just keep sharing what you like.

I'll second the following:
Preoccupations - Degraded
Green Day - Bang Bang
Yann Tiersen - Porz Goret
