Radiohead's LP9
Radiohead's LP9
After 'disappearing' off the internet for a few days and sending out weird flyers to their fans, Radiohead have released a new video:

Hopefully more will come soon.

Re: Radiohead's LP9
Good stuff and nice video too. Different direction. Really looking forward to the rest of the album.
Re: Radiohead's LP9
I am currently as happy about this song as I was sad about Prince dying.
Re: Radiohead's LP9
I honestly like the music video. I think it could easily be one of the best videos ever made. The song is not my favorite of theirs, but I can see myself listening to this often. To sum things up: the video of a good song rules!

The video is like Postman Pat's for adults. I actually showed it to my English wife, and she said "it's Trumpton"babydoll wrote:I honestly like the music video. Check it out
I guess it comes from Yorke's childhood ???
Any "older" British chums in the forum ?

The more I listen, the more I'm reminded of There Will Be Blood, and I'd really like more of that.
Re: Radiohead's LP9
Interesting. I didn't put those two together. Need to listen to this song more and watch TWBB again soon. What makes you say this just out of curiosity besides the obvious Greenwood connection?BleuPanda wrote:The more I listen, the more I'm reminded of There Will Be Blood, and I'd really like more of that.
Re: Radiohead's LP9
Hmm. I haven't seen TWBB since 2008, so I might be remembering it wrong, but I remember it having a few pieces that used string instruments in a comparably forceful way. Which might be more common than I think, but that specific soundtrack has stuck with me through the years, and I think Burn the Witch could fit perfectly on that soundtrack with a few small changes, with those small differences showing the rest of the band's influence.

Re: Radiohead's LP9
mmm wait, the animator of the video says it's "inspired" by the refugee crisis in Europe ? Not convinced this is the message I am getting from it...
Anyone sees it ?

I'm loving it already. Beautiful little record.
Re: Radiohead's LP9
This song is amazing. Better than King of Limbs confirmed.
All aboard the goddamn hype train.

Also, this will surely be a better first listening experience than last time, if only because this new album won't be coming out the same day I got my wisdom teeth removed.
