"Marquee Moon" was going to be my next pick, and "Venus" would've been the song I would've picked from it. Good call!

For the 24-hour rule:

Is it 24 hours after the initial topic opened, or 24 hours after your last vote?

In either case, my next nomination is "Running to Stand Still" from Joshua Tree. It's the subject of one of my favorite (very long) U2-related jokes.

Continuing my "Highest ranked album with an unacclaimed song I give a 10" theme:

"Decades" from "Closer" by Joy Division

(Please let me know if any of my selections were released as singles. I'm terrible at knowing things like that.)

For the 24 hour thing, just to make it simple, how about we go with the idea that it's okay to vote again if you had a full night's rest since your last vote.

24 hours more so it's time to choose a song from my all-time #2 album:

The Beatles - The Beatles: Cry Baby Cry

(despite being an album whose detractors label it as inconsistent it has a respectable 16 acclaimed songs out of 30, moreover being an album with no singles extracted of it; and -at least in my opinion- the other 14 songs are more than notable)
(since my #3, #4,#5, #6 and #7 albums are already claimed let's see if I can chose a song from my album #8 in another 24 hours)

Another album, like Thriller, that has only two tracks eligible for this game. That's why I went with Blonde on Blonde - more to choose from.

I see Honorio picked "Cry Baby Cry" from The White Album - if Blonde on Blonde had already been taken, that's exactly the album and song I would have selected. Always thought it was underrated.

Ha, ha, ha, Harold, what a coincidence. "Blonde on Blonde" is my #3 album and it was going to be my next vote until you picked it. And you know what? "Absolutely Sweet Marie" was going to be my choice too!

Well, almost. In my all-time Top 10 "Absolutely Sweet Marie," "Spanish Bombs," and "Visions" would have been my choices too. "Climbing Up the Walls," "Shore Leave," "Never Had No One Ever" and "I'm Waiting for the Day" are excellent choices but (probably) I would have chosen "Exit Music (For a Film)," "Frank's Wild Years," "Frankly Mr. Shankly" and "That's Not Me." About "Hunky Dory" (my #12 album) I agree with you 100%, "Quicksand" is an excellent choice...
