Total Votes: 106

Due to the tie for 9th place, the top 11 songs from last week's poll went through to this week's. A refreshing sight to see four new songs come into the competition, even if their long-lasting chances aren't that high in this voter's opinion. We'll let the people of AMF decide their fate. Otherwise, a very nice, consistent selections of other songs all seem posed to make their Hall of Fame in the coming weeks (or months, as it were). And as it turns out, we didn't need that many nominations last week to begin with, since MegaCritic was so filled with new selections. But, as always, keep the records on! 2015 is an exciting time indeed.

2015 Chart-Toppers by Week (by vote count, not chart position; total weeks atop chart in parentheses):
1. Alvvays - "Archie, Marry Me" (2) / Kanye West feat. Paul McCartney - "Only One"
2. Alvvays - "Archie, Marry Me" (3)
3. Alvvays - "Archie, Marry Me" (4)
4. Alvvays - "Archie, Marry Me" (5) / Belle and Sebastian - "Nobody's Empire"
5. Alvvays - "Archie, Marry Me" (6)
6. Belle and Sebastian - "Nobody's Empire" (2)
7. Björk - "Black Lake"
8. Björk - "Black Lake" (2)
9. Belle and Sebastian - "Nobody's Empire" (3) / Björk - "Black Lake" (3)
10. Sufjan Stevens - "No Shade in the Shadow of the Cross"
11. Grimes - "REALiTi"
12. Grimes - "REALiTi" (2)
13. Grimes - "REALiTi" (3) / Kendrick Lamar - "King Kunta" / Sufjan Stevens - "No Shade in the Shadow of the Cross" (2)
14. Kendrick Lamar - "King Kunta" (2)
15. Kendrick Lamar - "King Kunta" (3)

2015 Hall of Fame (10 weeks of advancing votes; automatically retired from chart):
Björk - "Black Lake" (Weeks 4 - 13)
Courtney Barnett - "Pedestrian at Best" (Weeks 5 - 14)

Here is this week's 20-song Spotify chart:

Here is your 2015 AMF Chart playlist of all songs on the chart so far this year:

Thank you all for voting and nominating continuously every week! Please don't be afraid to supply us with nominations - all songs six months old and younger (or who have received promotion via album/video/single in the last six months) are accepted! And seconding nominations by others' gives those songs a better chance at making the next poll!

As per usual, the next poll will be created as close to Sunday at 19:00 UTC as I can make it. Best of voting! :D

I can't even begin to describe to you all the immense satisfaction that I get when all 20 songs of the poll are on Spotify. It's like fitting together the pieces of a perfect puzzle, haha. But don't let that keep you all from seeking out those excellent hidden cuts ;)

Apologies to antonius, as Ryley Walker's "Primrose Green" was already in the poll a couple weeks back. Don't worry, though, the MegaCritic chart tried to pull the same trick on me this week! Those repeat offenders are really going at it this year.

And as I mentioned in last week's thread, I'll try to listen to the selections and provide a bit of thoughtful analysis on this week's choices when I have the time. Discussion should always be encouraged, even if we're just checking boxes in the end. Fight for your favorite songs! :)

I'd like to second the nomination for "Learning to Relax" by Dan Deacon. One of the most mind-bending songs I've ever heard, especially when you read his interviews about the track's inspiration.
