The official results aren't live yet, but it looks like this years stats (including the results) are on Glenn McDonald's site... Assuming these are the final totals, they certainly are surprising :D

Edit: And the link has been locked again, so pay this no mind... My bad :?

"Black Messiah" came in first for albums, with "RTJ2" in second. "1989" was in the top ten as well.

"Seasons (Waiting On You)" was the number one song. "Blank Space", "Shake It Off", and "Flawless" were also in the top ten.

That's honestly all I can remember.

Great to see Black Messiah get the praise it deserves. It was definetly the most acclaimed album of the year and I thought it'd be left out since it was released so late.

Lemme see, I remember the top 3 for albums went *Black Messiah* (roughly 2000 points), *RTJ2* (around 1700), and *Lost in the Dream* (somewhere in the neighborhood of 1400)... As Nick said, *1989* was also top ten, as was Sturgill Simpson, St. Vincent, Angel Olson, and I believe Against Me!... I don't remember too much on the Album's list (I think *Rips* was just outside the top 10, *Benji* was top 20, YG and Ty Segall were in the top 30, and Cloud Nothings and Gibbs & Madlib just snuck in the top 40)

I paid more attention to the song list (as you will soon see), here's what I remember of that

Top 10
1. "Seasons"
2. "Two Weeks"
3. "Blank Space"
4. "Shake It Off"
5. "i"
6. "Tuesday (feat. Drake)" (note: Alternate/Remix versions of both this and "***Flawless" received enough votes to make it into the top 40 of their own accord... As if Henrik's job needed to be made more complicated  )
7. "Chandelier"
8. "Boom Clap"
=9. "***Flawless"
=9. "Turn Down for What" (RS is not alone...)

In the #11-20 range:
"Close Your Eyes (and Count to Fuck)"
"Queen"
"Never Catch Me"
"Archie, Marry Me"
"Move that Dope"
"Happy"
"Water Fountain"
"Stay With Me"

Btw #21-30
"Fancy" (one of the over-hyped and mediocre, yet very successful pop songs that inexplicably pepper P&J)
"All About that Bass" (see above)
"Problem"
"Red Eyes"?
"0 to 100/The Catch-Up"?
"2 On"
"Avant Gardener" (the sole entry that went top 40 in 2013 as well if I remember correctly)

Btw #31-40
"Take Me to Church"
"Good Kisser" ( :happy-partydance: :happy-partydance: :happy-partydance: )
"Do You"
"Bury Our Friends"
"Turtles All the Way Down"
"***Flawless (Remix with Nicki Minaj)"
"Club Going Up on a Tuesday" (I think that might be the Drake-less version, I'm not sure though)

Just outside the top 40:
"XO"
"Do It Again"
"West Coast" (which was really surprising)
"Go"

Surprisingly Low:
"Minipops 67 [120.2] [Source Field Mix]" (4 votes)

I'm not sure how much of this is correct, but it'll give you guys something to go on for the next week or so :music-listening:

Agreed on Black Messiah. If it came out a month earlier it would have wound up high on my list.

Good to see St Vincent wind up that high. But as usual artists with previous success have a big advantage. No way Spoon winds up that high without having previously released greater albums.
