Welcome to Week 30 of the AMF Chart! The chart where the critics apparently really wants us to listen to more metal.

Here are your rankings for Week 29 (number of weeks on the chart so far in parentheses):
1. Spoon - "Do You" (8)
2. Interpol - "All the Rage Back Home" (5)
3. La Roux - "Uptight Downtown" (4)

5. Perfume Genius - "Queen" (3)
5. Röyksopp & Robyn - "Every Little Thing" (3)
7. Allo Darlin' - "Romance and Adventure" (1)

The top 10 songs went on to this week. A possible high point in the year, the MegaCritic chart provided eight of this week's nominations, leaving room for only two voter nominations. Perhaps the system should be a bit modified, but I don't have many ideas. Comment if you have any ideas to improve the AMF chart, of course! Relating to the nomination process or otherwise.

The AMF Chart recommends you visit this thread

MCCh August 31

Partially because it's a far superior, much better, longer-running thread that I probably don't need to advertise because you all visit it on the regular anyway, but also because Otisredding is the best person ever and keeps posting about us on his own topic, which is just grand.
