"Monument" didn't do as well as I would've hoped; but I'd still like to nominate my 2nd favorite off the terrific "Do It Again" EP: "Every Little Thing" by Röyksopp & Robyn.

I'd like to nominate "Back to the Shack" by Weezer. They're finally returning to their 90s sound and I couldn't be happier.

Great new song from Weezer, indeed!

OK, one more round of very useful stats.

For each song in this chart I checked the genre in RYM as follows:
1) if the song was released as single, I looked at the genre there
2) if the song was not released as single, or the genre was missing there, I looked at the album where the song is on
3) if 1) and 2) did not give a result, I tried the genre of the artist
4) if all that fails, the genre is missing.

If you add up all the votes, this is the top 10:
<position>. <votes> <weeks> <songs> <genre> (<best song>)
1. 296 51 14 Art Pop (Lana Del Rey - West Coast)
2. 176 38 12 Singer / Songwriter (Damien Jurado - Silver Timothy)
3. 155 36 19 Indie Rock (The War On Drugs - Under The Pressure)
4. 136 25 6 Contemporary Folk (Sun Kil Moon - Richard Ramirez Died Today Of Natural Causes)
5. 101 21 7 Synth Pop (Future Islands - Seasons (Waiting On You))
6. 76 13 4 Dream Pop (Warpaint - Love Is To Die)
7. 74 10 1 Garage Rock (The Black Keys - Weight Of Love)
8. 72 11 3 Folk Pop (First Aid Kit - My Silver Lining)
9. 64 31 4 Neo-Psychedelia (The Black Keys - Fever)
10. 62 23 17 Indie Pop (Broken Bells - After The Disco)

Your stats are always fantastically interesting and appreciated, Andre. Thanks! :)

Plus, they'll make it much easier to eventually calculate how we're going to do an end-of-the-year bracket.

If Andres' comment on the new Weezer song was not considered a second nomination I'd like to second 'Back To The Shack' and also nominate Foxygen - 'How Can You Really'. :)

It's my pleasure to contribute to this chart, Setherex. Even if it is only small compared to the work you are putting into it!

Correct, it was not a second nomination. I am definitely going for Owen Pallett's next brilliant song to target for Hall of Fame.

Definitely the highlight of the album for me - the whole of which, I suppose, wasn't as disappointing as I had assumed it would be :music-listening:

Saw Foxygen last night in a small barn at a winery in Sonoma, CA. This group is incredible! Sam France is a little Jagger, a little Iggy, a little Elvis(?!) and a LOT of talent. These guys will be huge one day.
