Indeed, this list is great.

Unacclaimed 1.0 was great as well, but it was also less competitive. The songs that made the final were dominant for the entire tournament and most people called "Sinnerman" in Round 1.

Here, there are NO favorites. I honestly have no idea what's going to win. This will make it all the more fun come Thursday.

I was managing a record store in the 1980s and we had a ton of club and mobile DJ's who bought their records from us. This was a HUGE classic disco cut back then. The original flipside (You're My Everything) was a very big slow dance item.

I'm actually surprised to see this song was eligible.

It's a decent, high-charting song from a style critics love. I expected at least a bubbling under.

I actually came very close to nominating "Kangaroo Court", also by Capital Cities.

Sorry Henry, nominations just closed.

Unless you nominated this earlier and I missed it.

We start the poll as soon as I think of it Thursday.

The second round came and went awfully fast. I am looking forward to the game.

whuntva, the youtube link for Carnival of Sorts is wrong (it is from The Gardener, the same link as the preceeding one from spot 48).

Can you please replace the youtube link with a correct one, e.g. with this one

Thanks!

Great choices, everyone! I hope my nominations get far, but I would be satisfied with all these songs winning.
