Henrik, 11 votes is not a record. In week #4 Damien Jurado managed to get 12 votes. So we have Richard Ramirez on second place and Fuck Off Get Free (For The Island Of Montreal) from Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra got to 10 votes in week #1.

My nominations for week 12:
1. The Antlers - Palace
2. The Afghan Whigs - Algiers
3. Little Children - By Your Side

I am at a bit of a controversy for this next nom. Just bear with me.

I only recently heard Asgeir's "King and Cross" on his album In the Silence, and wanted to nominate it actually about a month ago. Much to my dismay, I found the album had been physically released in 2014, but the song had been on the web at least a year prior. I was wondering if it was too late to nominate this song. It was certainly never SUPER Huge and the title track from the album was already here in Week Four.

Long and short, I just want to nominate "King and Cross", but don't know if it's too old for this.

If this is unacceptable, I do have backup. "Doves" by Future Islands was also heard just recently.

Henrik, I'm completely sorry for this week's chart. I'm in the middle of an international trip and God knows how hard it's been for me to access the Internet. I totally forgot to warn you I would be out for 2 weeks and have just reminded me of that. Forgive me for the mishap. See you guys next week!

I think there's some manipulation going on with the votes, making this more of a "strategic voting" contest in recent weeks. Just an observation - clearly votes are being re-appropriated more frequently. Wasn't Future Islands up to like 7 at one point early on?

I don't do strategic voting, but I did change my vote from Future Islands to Black Keys. With that change Future Islands went down from 5 to 4 and stayed there ever since, I don't recall it ever seeing it have 7 votes.

I usually don't change votes, but in this case multiple listens to the Future Islands' song made me decide to change.

^^^I do remember seeing it have five votes almost right when the poll began, but it never was THAT high. I think it just stopped gaining votes is all.

I change my vote several times in a week. This is not strategy. The reason is that my preferences change over several listens. (does not this happen to everyone?)

Changing your vote because your tastes changed is fine.

I don't think anybody is changing their vote because something they voted for doesn't have a chance to win and they want to help somebody with a chance to win instead, but if they are, that should be frowned upon.

Oddly enough, I've voted every single week, and I don't think I've changed my vote even once. I don't know if it's more because I usually wait until the last moment to vote, or if I'm just a stubborn old man who's stuck in his ways...

No worries, guigs!

Anyone who wants to set up week 12? If I don't hear anything I will probably do it tonight.

That's right, and in case it should ever come to a court case to clarify that, we are all going to be digital witnesses.
