guigs2910, how come Carla Bozulich (#12) and Angel Olsen (#11) are still in?
Should we have nominated more songs?

2. Ray LaMontagne - Supernova

Yes Andre, after applying all the rules of the chart, there were only 18 songs. Angel Olsen's one would still be in according to the rules, but Carla Bozulich's and the least voted one for The War On Drugs were given a special passthrough to complete the 20-song lineup, since those were the two most acclaimed acts of the moment amongst the remaining songs. Hope I've cleared that out! :)

Thanks for the explanation, guigs2910!

If I have understood the rules correctly, Angel Olsen's one would be on spot 11 (longer in competition than the other 2 songs with 3 points). So if there had been enough nominations, Angel would be out of competition too.

But since there were 3 nominations in total missing, it is correct that Angel Olsen, Carla Bozulich and War On Drugs passed through. 8-)
