Random Rules November - Submissions
Random Rules November - Submissions
Welcome to November's first Monday...
It's time for Random Rules!
All you need to do is submit your list of 10 random songs - the next ten that come up via the random generator on your entire music library. We'll pull them all together then start the next part in a couple days (48 hours or 10 lists, whichever comes last), then start the elimination process to create the Random Rules Jukebox for November.
Bring on the dancing horses... start posting!

Did not know this later one. Nappy was on my grandfather's Savoy label in his heydey and he came in at #115 on my list of favorite 1950s acts, just missing making the presentation.nicolas wrote:Nappy Brown - You Mean More To Me Than Gold

Oh yeah! I look forward so much to these threads.
Otis Redding - The Glory of Love
Savages - City's Full
Frank Sinatra - Fly Me to the Moon
De La Soul - WRMS: Cat's in Control <---heh, as if this is going to get very far
T. Rex - Baby Strange
Elvis Costello and the Attractions - Living in Paradise
Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love
MGMT - Future Reflections
Big Star - Holocaust
Pet Shop Boys - So Hard
Not too bad...
Hey, we should do predictions for each of our own lists. From mine I'd probably have to say Whole Lotta Love, or Fly Me to the Moon if not that. I really hope History Lesson Part II makes it from Nassim's list though, I love that track.

I always have an idea in my head regarding what I think will win. I'm never right. I love the unpredictability of the elimination round!

I personaly skip skits, intros and such things when I make my playlist !TimmyWing wrote: De La Soul - WRMS: Cat's in Control <---heh, as if this is going to get very far
Re: Random Rules November - Submissions
I include them, but haven't hit any really bad ones yet (although one of my selections this month may definitely qualify as "bad"). I have a lot of sound effect "dub plates" (like gun shots and yodelers, for example) on my itunes courtesy of People Like Us. Again, though, none of these have popped up yet.Nassim wrote:I personaly skip skits, intros and such things when I make my playlist !TimmyWing wrote: De La Soul - WRMS: Cat's in Control <---heh, as if this is going to get very far
We have 11 lists already, so elimination will begin tomorrow.
Still plenty of time for more lists - I'll keep this open until 10am EST tomorrow!
