Is there any way of accessing the rest of the top 100? I'm curious where the albums that have dropped off are falling!

That's fascinating, Otisredding. I love reading your charts, but I didn't know if you still had that much data running off :P

Is it difficult to compile such lists? Because I'd love to keep seeing the rest of the totals you go through every other week. But if it's too much effort to be worth it, I understand.

Thanks again for all the work! ^_^

I could just imagine how challenging this is. If I was doing it, my main worry would probably be going back to all of my sources to see if past releases have been reviewed yet. I'd probably always be missing some reviews here and there because they were written late. I applaud Otisredding for being pretty good about updating the number of reviews for all the albums.

I tried doing this with my own formula a couple years ago. It takes up a LOT of time, even if you're just looking at Metacritic for the scores. It's really amazing how Otis keeps up with it.

Thank you very much to all.

The truth is it takes a long time. I do this because music and spreadsheets are two of my biggest hobbies. There are few things that can be done while listening to music: one of them is to search and find reviews and ratings of albums.

I try not to get any score, therefore, I am continually reviewing the 30 websites.

Is it really necessary to publish the list of 100 albums every 15 days?

My idea is that at the end of the year, the list will be of 100 albums. Approximately all have more than 75 points. But now, the album is at number 60, 61, 62...100, it is actually a very low valuation album.

Sorry, google translation

By the way.

Still searching: all websites to publish over 400 reviews per year, with a score, enter MCCH. I mean, I do not sift through the best sites. All the websites that have these characteristics are part of MCCH

I actually keep my own spreadsheet as well, which I consider to be a subjectivized aggregator of aggregators. It uses Metacritic, AnyDecentMusic, AlbumoftheYear.org, and AcclaimedMusic.net scores built into an algorithm with my preferred source of review as well as my own subjective score, should I choose to sort the list that way. I asked about the rest of your top 100 because I wound up having to create strange rules for how to accommodate the albums that had fallen out of the top 100 but were on the list in the past. I'll still do that I imagine for any albums that aren't in the top 100, but it should be less annoying with 100 albums than with 40. Thanks!

Oh and seconded, it takes a LOT of work

Also, it is useful to know how LOW certain albums rank. For instance, if I want to know just how BAD Snoop Dogg's new album is, all I need to do is look at my list of 392 albums and see that his is ranked at #382. That's pretty bad and funny.
