EOY 2016 - De Volkskrant (The Netherlands)

Post by Rob »

There is a problem with this list this year: it's no longer available for un-paying visitors: http://www.volkskrant.nl/muziek/zo-klin ... ~a4438583/

I can see what the number one is: a classical album by Barbara Hannigan called Let Me Tell You (as always, this is a rare list that contains both classical as pop albums). I also know that the final spot - #50 - is for The Rolling Stones' Blue & Lonesome and that both albums by the Knowles sisters make an appearance. The intro text also mentions that Frank Ocean and The Weeknd disappointed, so I don't expect them. But otherwise I can't access the list. I've tried to find it elsewhere, without luck. I hope it turns up in full somewhere else.

Anyone have any luck finding the list?

Um, this is a setlist from a concert by The Weeknd. What in the name of holy living fuck is it doing here? I presume this is spam.

Q MAGAZINE has done several best albums lists, the latest beingits "250 Best Album Of Q's Lifetime" published in February 2011 but voted by its readers, thus not included in AM.

Doesn't look like it - the links for an actual list.

My post was in reply to a post that has since been deleted - a completely random-ass post that did in fact contain a setlist from a recent Weeknd concert. Of course, my post now looks utterly mystifying without the context of what it was responding to.
