Sweet list. Have enjoyed listening to many of those but there are still a few to hear before posting our own EoY lists.

Any in particular you'd recommend? I've heard Floating Points (which was a great pick for their #1), Jlin, Bjork, Julia Holter, and Oneohtrix.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner on this Jackson. I have been busy compiling my 2015 EoY for tomorrow and left relistening to most of these until this week.

I'd say R.A.'s list is roughly an agreeable order if you move the albums by Julia Holter, Björk and Oneohtrix Point Never up into the top five. The albums by both Levon Vincent and Lnrdcroy are also worthy of high praise. There are a few albums towards the end of that top-twenty I have little interest in revisiting but I don't regret listening to any of them.

Here's a quick description the albums I've heard from Resident Advisor's 2015 EoY list so far:
  • Levon Vincent - Levon Vincent (link to album)
    - A vast and cohesive collection of techno soundscapes.
  • Lncdcroy - Much Less Normal (link to album)
    - Marvellous mix of outsider house and ambient techno.
  • Suzanne Kraft - Talk from Home (link to album)
    - Ambient utilising playful keys, synths and acoustic instruments.
  • BOOF - The Hydrangeas Whisper (Listen to single)
    - Deep-house tracks intermingled with some boogie, disco and funk.
  • Hunee - Hunch Music (link to album)
    - House with quirky and eclectic hooks.
  • Mariah - Utakata no Hibi (link to album)
    - Enchanting and diverse low-key art-pop.
  • Anthony Naples - Body Pill (link to album)
    - Mini-album made from a variety of outsider-house experiments.
  • Gaussian Curve - Clouds (link to album)
    - Downtempo pairing off synths with guitars, pianos or saxophones.
  • Linkwood - Expressions (link to various tracks)
    - A collection of sleek, crystalline house productions.
  • Zenker Brothers - Immersion (link to album)
    - Ambient opener gives way to a core of molten techno tracks.
  • Matrixxman - Homesick (link to album)
    - A focused minimalist techno album.
  • Visionist - Safe (link to album)
    - Interesting experiments, taking cues from bass and grime.
Here are some non-listed albums that I think are also worth checking out:
  • Ash Koosha - GUUD (link to album)
    - Weird and erratic collection of glitch-hop/wonky productions.
  • Blanck Mass - Dumb Flesh (link to album)
    - Squelchy, twisted industrial-electronic album.
  • DJ Richard - Grind (link to album)
    - Ambient techno with a sinister and nocturnal tone.
  • Jefre Cantu-Ledesma - A Year with Thirteen Moons (link to album)
    - An ambient drone collage made of brief tracks smothered in static hiss.
  • Lakker - Tundra (link to album)
    - Diverse techno that often samples a variety of vocals.
  • Ptaki - Przelot (link to various tracks)
    - Smoothly blends together ambient, downtempo and house.
  • Rafael Anton Irisarri - A Fragile Geography (link to album)
    - Slow-burning atmospheric ambient/drone.
  • 2 8 1 4 - Birth of a New Day (link to album)
    - Lush ambiance littered with cityscape recordings.
