This poll dates to 1986, but it appears that Acclaimed Music only includes it going back to about 2006 or so.

The complete list of winners can be viewed here: http://www.frootsmag.com/pollwinners/

Unfortunately, it only lists the winners and three runners up from previous years, but I do not know why that is.
