Re: POLL: Timeframe for 2016 AMF Artist Poll?
So, folks, this poll is done. As I stated before, though 2 months only has won with 14 votes, if one combines votes for a longer timeframe than that, such as 3-4 months, then we have 9 votes, clearly indicating that 2 months would be too small a window for plenty of users. I have decided that the 3 ...

Re: AMF Top 250 Films of All Time (2016 edition)
I'd think The Wizard of Oz is simply too old and therefore less popular and less available. Even Gone with the Wind didn't get more than 13 votes. Back to the Future on the other hand... I know this to be true. Not that many millennials even know who Judy Garland is, much less seen The Wizard of Oz...

Although 2 months is in the lead so far, there does seem to be users who feel like they need more than that. I have been kicking around 3 months as being a good compromise as far as timeframes go, which would officially leave the results to be unveiled in July. I would like to hear those who voted f...

In the case of subgenres in multiple categories, I am kind of iffy on that concept. I firmly believe that the subgenres need to be established in just one of the categories. Many artists and albums, like say MIA to use the electropop example, fall into several subgenres anyways, so I don't think tha...

Possibly my confusion with this is trying to determine what subgenres belong in which of the seven main genre categories.
