Here's one I thought of: Some type of "best of Motown" tournament. Perhaps let 3/4 of the entrants be the top ranked Motown tracks on AM, and then the remaining quarter can be nominated by forumers?

I haven't listened to this one recently enough to do a full ranking, but "The Cross" is phenomenal. It might be my second favorite by Prince, after "When Doves Cry". A stunning track, beautiful build up, and stellar lyrically.

I definitely agree. I can't fathom somebody actually having more than 100 artists they genuinely love. For me personally, I'd say I have about 50, and the next 50 on my list are at the "great but not amazing" level.
