I believe I had posted the song list. RS isn't a country outlet, but there is a RS Country section on its website. So, that makes it less cut and dry. I'd welcome it, as country, overall, is largely ignored on best-of lists.

Re: The 500 Biggest KROQ Songs Of All Time (July 2015)

These kinds of radio-station lists are questionable, at least to me. I only say that because a local top 40 station, for instance, usually runs its Firecracker 500 around Fourth of July, and it's not a ranking of what the station thinks are the "best songs" or anything like that. Other sta...

You'd probably have to listen to see if they mention whether it's a listener list, a staff mix or a combination of both. A lot of these radio-station lists are listener-generated.

As evidenced by four of this year's inductees, sometimes it just takes a little (or a lot) of time.

As far as I can tell, the last time that a female wasn't inducted as a performer- solo or as part of a group- was the 2004 ceremony (the prior year also had no female inductees).

Janet's lack of induction is a disappointment, given that she released an album that reminded people that she is a strong artist, and in turn, reminded of her impact/legacy. it's like the All Music site- a 4-star Beatles album shouldn't be compared to a 4-star Backstreet Boys album- the ratings are to be compared only to the particular act's other albums.
