The 100 Best Australian Albums
I found this list on Wikipedia and couldn't find it listed on AM: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/100_Best_Australian_Albums I believe it is eligible for inclusion on the site. This being Wikipedia, it would be great if anyone could corroborate that this list is accurate. (The authors seem to have an a...

My second nomination: Trust - Pretty Things http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypA7KWIhocI I believe this song isn't allowed in the competition because it is on an album that is listed on AM. Sorry. :| My second vote is for Tally Ho! by The Clean (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVkC8W_-a-8)

Re: Unacclaimed 2.0 Nomination Thread
There are so many that I wish were included on AM: Part Time Punks (Television Personalities), Tally Ho (The Clean), Last Kind Word Blues (Geeshie Wiley). However, I nominate Kyrie by Edu Lobo, a manically delightful song from an undeservedly obscure artist. Bruce, I forgive you for your Bing . . . ...

Re: Acclaimed music and culture shock.
I'd like to request the return of the list of top albums divided by critics' country of origin. It used to be on the front page, but was abandoned with last year's update. It was really interesting seeing where certain albums are most acclaimed. I remember seeing "Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake" i...

Re: Acclaimed music and culture shock.
Whole genres have been ignored in countries. As an American, I've rarely heard trip-hop, 2-step, or Madchester on the radio. What I find interesting is when an act is ignored by its home country but embraced abroad. Scott Walker comes to mind.

Re: Alternative artists list
I like this new artists list a lot. Henrik, I remember you posting that you planned to expand the albums list, but didn't have time this year. Can we expect to see that with next year's update?

I'm delighted to see a new Bowie album and song in their respective top 1000 lists. Who would have predicted that at the beginning of 2013?

Re: IT HAS HAPPENED: Update 2014 Thread
Disappointed to see Brian Eno, Cpt. Beefheart, Wire, and Can falling so dramatically. Happy to see 36 Chambers as the top album of '93, Kanye West rising so dramatically, and Rain Dogs being recognized as Tom Waits' best album. Overall, a incredible testament to Henrik's hard work and attention to d...

The entry for The Normal's "Warm Leatherette" should include the Matthew Ingrams ("WOEBOT") list "The 100 Greatest Records Ever." The song is no. 93 on that last.

If Dr. John's album enters the Top 3000 would that be the longest dry spell between albums on the list (40 years)? Also, not one EOY list has decided to included Lambchop...

Release dates and EOY lists
I always look forward to the lists that publications and websites compile at the end of the year. However, I've noticed a recent trend of these lists coming out earlier every year. This year was especially bad, at least for me, because several of my favorite artists (Scott Walker, Big Boi, and possi...

The Upsetter's "Blackboard Jungle Dub" is #29 on WOEBOTS/Matthew Ingram "100 Greatest Records Ever" list (http://rateyourmusic.com/list/funks/woebots_the_100_greatest_records_ever__complete_), but the album's inclusion in that list is not on its page on this site. I think you mig...
