Metacritic has a database of all the video games from the 21st century, and a few from before then. I suppose about half of them are, but now they awkwardly have the Top 114 artists of all time. Whenever a top 100 list gets made, I assume that there's at least twice as many names that could have ended up in there, that there's not just 100.

The CD booklet, besides remarking "Simply titled Pretenders, it arrived in December 1979," later states in the credits, "Pretenders was originally issued as Sire #6083 (12/27/79)." I see that Rate Your Music and Allmusic have a different date ... it's all pretty nuts! :o
