It's usually new music that I put on repeat, unless it's an older album I hear for the first time. Right now the music video I watch at least a few times every day is Janelle Monae's "Q.U.E.E.N." Makes me so excited for her upcoming album.

Thanks, Otis. This update just confirms what a great month it has been. Surprised that Daft Punk is nowhere to be found yet, but I suspect that its low scores brought it down. It has received some great, great reviews but also some pretty bad ones.

I would also call it the stronger album vs Isn't Anything. It doesn't match Loveless, but in the same way In Rainbows didn't match OK Computer. It's still the best release of this young year so far. But it CAN be bettered. It isn't a flawless album.

Monae's next album, Electric Lady, should be out in 2013. The fact that she has confirmed the title (back in August) and performed two potential tracks from it live are good indications that it'll be soon. Voice From the Lake. Probably the most underrated album of the year. Not even other electronica-friendly lists (LWE and FACT for example) have included it, but it's not only one of the top techno albums, it's one of the best LPs of the year. Kudos to RA for recognizing it.
